I am driving in the left lane with left indicator, waiting to make a left turn. This white vehicle overtakes me from the left shoulder, cuts right and overtakes a biker from his right, then cuts left in front of the biker! So many rules broken in 20 seconds....

This driver with the POV turning left says the right of way belongs to his car. The car coming from the opposite direction is turning right and proceeds to merge in front of the car turning left and takes the right of way. I looked, there is no yield sign for the car turning right. Different takes on this - A Dmv instructor said the right hand turn has to wait till it’s clear because they have a shoulder merge with a median in the way. If the median wasn’t there, the left hand turn has to wait. But a professional CDL driver with decades of experience said with an open green light both ways, ( unless the right turn has a yield ) the left turn will ALWAYS yield to straight or right turning traffic. ALWAYS. What do you think? Who has the right of way? The car turning right or the car turning left?

Ticking time bombs on Highways - turn whenever, stop wherever….who cares 😐. Im in left lane with left indicator on as I was to turn left at petrol station. He decided at last minute to turn as well. So far so good. But then he also made a sudden stop in middle of lane to help decipher which lane would be shortest to get gas from 🙄. All my things kept on left seat went flying down! The only good thing here - I learnt how to beep out profanity 😅🙈 #HighwayTales #NH1

ATTN: TGSRTC -Kindly counsel your drivers that it's not recommended for large vehicles (4 wheelers too) to overtake from left side on crowded city roads. Better to stick to right lane after departure from bus stop and drive steady. All this weaving will not really get you ahead much, but exponentially increases risk of accidents because of the many blind spots around a bus. Left lane in city roads is best left for 2 & 3 wheelers. #RoadSafety #ArriveAlive

Looking left & right Push the shoulder blades back then rotate the neck from side to side. Try to turn your neck until it feels uncomfortable in a stretching type of way. Do not turn the head so far that the neck snaps or hurts. Do this for 15 seconds.

If there is a Q for making right turn/U-turn, please join behind Q. Don't overtake from left and cut in front of line. That's cheap driving and causes road rage. Drive in a way that others look up to you, not down. #roadrage #RoadSafety

Don't you hate it when people block a designated FREE left lane? Instead of queuing up behind the existing line of vehicles they squeeze into the left lane which is free- just to get ahead by 10 meters, and block it for others taking a left turn. That is selfish driving. #RoadSafety

This is why you never use the right shoulder to pass cars turning left. Slow the heck down and wait a second or a minute. I will say, this guy turning left was waiting forever but still, just be patient and wait. Too many people in a big, old hurry.

The car driver did everything right until the last moment !! This video highlights the need to have situational awareness while on the road !! The biker also should've stayed behind and turned from the left instead of turning across the car. Bad driving habits hit when we least expect it. The biker lost his life in this simple situation.
