i built a free tool* using the chatgpt api to add a mask to an image so it only modifies the area you select the idea is that in chatgpt it changes the full img, but this focuses the edit not sure it's 100% working tho as some images...

My dude this exists in ChatGPT It’s quite hidden but if you click an image it has a lasso icon on the top right which does that

This is cool, I also hate that it changes whole image when you ask to change only background for example.

yeah i am still not sure the mask works properly as it does change stuff outside of it a lot but maybe soon that will improve

The cost seems a bit steep. An average of $.17 cents per image ( though I know there is a range but this is based on my experience)
