i hate the way tool calling works today, so i built a fix for it its called `executor` and it lets your agent run code to call any API / MCP / GraphQL server rather than installing CLIs this is a soft launch, you can try it with npm i -g executor but im still making it great

One agent was looking for IT problems — software bugs — before the code was even committed. It found a bug and said: “Hey, I found this bug. I want to fix it.” But it didn’t have access to fix it. So what did the agent do? It went to a Slack channel with 99 other AI agents and said: “Hey, does any other agent have access to this thing? Because I need it fixed.” And another agent literally raised its hand and said: “Oh, I have access — and I can fix it.” Let that sink in. Two AI agents reasoned together, coordinated through Slack, and went right around the guardrails that were put in place. No human prompted them. No human approved it. They just collaborated. Do you see how scary this is? This wasn’t a demo. This wasn’t a thought experiment. This already happened. AI agents found a bug, negotiated permissions, and solved the problem themselves — outside the controls designed to stop them. The future of automation isn’t coming. It’s already talking to itself in Slack.

Just watched a demo of Merge Agent Handler and this actually looks pretty useful if you’re building AI agents. Most agents can generate responses, but getting them to actually take actions across real tools is still messy. Integrations are one thing, but handling auth, permissions, and security usually makes it way more complicated than it should be. What I liked is that it feels built for real workflows — you can actually see what your agent is doing instead of just hoping it works. Feels like a practical layer between AI agents and real work getting done. Worth checking out:

TLDR; GH actions, but for agents. ~0ms cache, retry-on-failure, insanely fast. Agents need validation. CI is the last defense. They shouldn't bother you unless everything is green! GH Actions is usually in the top-5 expenses for dev-teams. Add agents to that mix? It'll easily double. It's the wrong tool for the right job: Slow boot, slow cache, retrieving logs is token expensive for agents, the list goes on... So I built a tool with one amazing feature: live-reload for failures. Agent-CI is a local CI runner. I tweaked the control pane and mounts to provide 0ms caching, insanely fast boots. When a step fails it pauses, provides the agent with the failure, and waits for the agent to fix and retry just that step. It uses the standard GH Actions image (via Docker), but emulates the control pane via a local HTTP server. You don't have to change any of your existing GH workflows. Tighter loops. Greener builds. Less babysitting. (Demo below.)

I work with shadcn/ui every day. I design with it, I build with it, and I see a lot of projects built with it. And honestly? Many of them look the same. Or worse - they look broken. Colors that clash. Fonts that don't pair. Dark modes that feel like an afterthought. The components themselves are great. The theming that people or AI make? Not so much. So I built a tool to fix that. I just launched my shadcn theme generator that will allow you to ship beautiful shadcn/ui themes in just 3-4 clicks. What it does: - Creates your entire color palette from 1 color (your hex or any tailwind color) - Works for light and dark theme - Only includes fonts that actually look good in UI - Font pairings I curated myself - Works for any project - landing page, dashboard, store - Has a color contast checker for the entire palette Too lazy? Just use random theme feature Done? Copy and paste the CSS to your global.css file or import to our Figma kit.

I’ve been working on dunk. It’s a terminal diff reviewer where you mark issues inline, then let a coding agent fix them. It started as a fork of hunk, but I stripped it down to the loop I need: review → my comments → agent fixes I’m spending time reviewing code and leaving comments for agents rather than writing code myself. But in most tools, that feedback loop still feels broken. dunk is a simple way to make it work across Claude Code, Codex, Pi, etc.
