@NEHWind I can’t wait for this to happen to Stellar Blade and see the left go from hating the game for “sexualizing women” (read: featuring sexy women) to praising the game and claim Eve is a “feminist and empowering queer icon”.

It's more like they call something a "problem" when they need a dragon to slay to show they're still needed and then pretend it's "empowering" when they want to look cool and hip. No,neither one works.
The fun part is when it goes full circle and they go back to legitimately hating it. Like how they hate Bayonetta for being straight and having a child by the end of her story, or now they hate that Frieren continues to push all the "wrong" messages even after they complained.
I can't help but be reminded Vivian James/Lillian White comic This never actually happened with any of the characters besides Bayonetta unless you count the Tomb Raider reboots Someone should remake this comic with characters the "woke" actuallly pulled the uno reverse card on
Yup. I’ve said for years the left is the party of “Now and whatever it takes” they’ll constantly change their stances to be in the right & gain favor. They’ll say something today that contradicts what they said yesterday & that will be different from what they feel tomorrow.
They will never claim anything. Stellar Blade is ours. Bayonetta is ours. If you allow them an inch, they win. Never back down.
These people seem to take offense at something that draws a hard line between good and evil and portrays evil as iredeemable, which is odd but telling. Why do you NEED demons to be anything but purely evil? The left's love for moral relativism is on itself evil because sometimes people are just evil with no ambiguity about it.
And the best part abut the latter case is that Bayonetta was made by a lesbian. These people just hate anything that is understood to be good. they hated Frieren because it calls out their fundamental dishonesty in how they opterate.
This is an aside, but it’s hilarious that the left still consider their main enemies to be the KKK (functionally irrelevant) and Hitler (dead). They always portray one of those when they make these types of things.
I remember being a kid and seeing them do this in real time back in Tumblr. Bayonetta was "sexist" and "made for the male gaze". Then when Bayonetta got popular because of their screeching, all of sudden she was a "lesbian icon" and "for the girlies" all within two years.

Conservatives literally cvcked themselves for decades over "violent" video games and now pretend they never did so.
For 50 years colleges taught how art and especially pop culture defaulted to the right and how hard it was to produce left wing media. They hated Star Wars, Super heroes, action movies, fantasy, Romcoms, and even punk music. Because all those things endure they switched to claiming always woke.
They do this with Nikke as well. Anything that gains traction and they can't remove it, they try to corrupt it

They sided with the Bugs in Starship Troopers, the Orcs in LOTR and the Demons in Frieren. They always side with the villains in fiction and real life because they are the villains. They're souls are indistinguishable from the monsters and demons they defend.
