Another weekend project: GridStore Jean Cavallera and I are building simple but useful dApps that make LUKSO more accessible and easier to use. This is GridStore, an “app store” for Grid templates. You can choose a template you like and, with a single transaction, upload it to your Universal Profile and use it as your Grid. Future CSS Tip! 🔮 (This one's close 🤏) You can use "subgrid" to give child elements access to a parent's grid tracks 👀 This is great when you want to make sure content lines up 🙌 Check those cards 👇 article { grid-row: span 4; display: grid; grid-template-rows: subgrid; 👈 } In this example, article uses grid but makes use of the tracks defined by the parent layout container. That makes it easier to line up content within the cards 🙏 Cool thing is, we don't even need to define the rows in the parent. For building our EOY reel, I used to open After Effects. This time, I opened Cursor. We built a hyper-specific Mac app to sequence all the clips: - Random reshuffling to try different orders - Transforms + background color fill - Global clip-length adjustment - Visual thumbnail timeline That kind of shuffling + global tweaking + visual grid just isn’t possible in another tool.

Growing up being Spanish but black it's a funny thing cause I always felt like the people that had my skin color in PR or anywhere I went in the world did not identify themselves as black people. And even in my household my parents didn't think we were black And I use to be like 'So what the hell are we' And my mom use to be like (No me traigas Negros Por Aqui) And that's exactly what I did. She hated her mother so bad 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ but her dad in the other hand a white men with green eyes she loved him dearly. I embrace my color and I teach my daughter how to embrace hers. Being this color it's not a crime and it's not a religion and it's not a certain type of people. It's being this color! Thank God I did not let ignorant people make me hate myself. If anything it made me love it more! Yes I'm brown/black and I like it. Why don't you. Smh.
