I don’t study defensive tackle alignment for the tush push … so not sure if anyone else has tried to align their DT to the rush side (left) like Chris Jones is aligned. Trying to take out the legs of the OL so stop Hurts momentum

I really think tush push gets banned this offseason. Just adds no entertainment value to the game.

I know nothing but do you think defenses would have more success if they used a linebacker Bolton in this case as a mirror to Hurts and had two bigger guys behind him shoving him forward and basically running tush push against itself?

Just make it illegal to ever push the ball carrier from behind. This play flat out sucks and it isn't good for the game. This play makes it nearly impossible for the defense to have a chance in short yardage. It is one of a couple of things this year that made this a down NFL yrr

i honestly think this play needs to be taken out of football. Same with the act of pulling or pushing the pile. Hurts just floats on buddies to the endzone doesn’t do anything. Not a football play

Get rid of this. In a sport where you aren't supposed to engage people who are already engaged with others let's have thousands of pounds pushing forward onto people who are already engaged lmao

If you are on defense on the goal line why not have your LB take a flying dive over the line every time. You get a free hit on the QB and give up 6 inches of penalty

For me, if I’m the defense; I have my down linemen all go for the OL knees; and then I have the LBs go head hunting to try and knock out Hurts.

The comments here are great. Let’s just ban the eagles from playing football along with the tush push. They are just too big and strong. I don’t love the play either, but don’t care. NFL allowing more plays to be reviewed is a much bigger deal.
