I built a Claude Code skill that allows it to generate a deep research report over any collection of complex docs (PDFs, Word, Pptx)….and generate word-level citations and bounding boxes directly back to the source! 📝 Check out “/research-docs”. 1. It parses out text and bounding boxes from every doc with liteparse, in seconds. 2. It then generates a full HTML report of the outputs that let you see word-level citations in each page. I'm SO impressed by Claude Skills. They are the best way to package custom instructions (and code) for the agent to access. (I prefer this to Claude Code's subagents because of the way it handles context) I used the skill-creator skill (comes default inside Claude) to create a skill for designing a presentation like Steve Jobs or Seth Godin, then used that skill to create a PPT about Claude Code. Below is a walkthrough of the results. The output when using the above mentioned skill vs when i don't is so clear. I'm bullish on what this implies for both Claude web and Claude Code. Extremely powerful. Anthropic cooked! 🔥

My favorite way of interacting with Claude Code is to have it generate static HTML files as outputs (reports, explorations, code structure, mockups etc.) I wanted to iterate on the file by commenting in browser and having Claude update the output live. So, I built this Claude Skill👇 How it works: - Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo) - Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report) - Ask it to make the page interactive That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes. I solved building decks with AI agents — by giving them a CLI tool like Powerpoint or Google Slides. AI could already make a beautiful deck if you asked it to using Ant's pptx skill. The problem was working with it. If it made one alignment mistake, fixing it on one slide would break something on another, and it became a game of whack-a-mole. One time I spent two days playing AI roulette, hoping the next prompt would finally fix the thing, and ended up building the whole deck by hand because I was on a deadline. So I built Hands-on Deck. And the reason it works is that this isn't just a skill — this is PowerPoint. The actual application: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, whatever you use. This is that, but for an agent, presented as a CLI. Every gesture you make in a deck app maps to a command. Click a box and type, drag a shape from here to there, look at a slide – agent can do it all in a command. And that changes how the agent behaves. With this CLI it works and thinks like a designer — it looks, makes an edit, looks again, makes another surgical edit. Compare that to Anthropic's pptx skill, built on the idea that Claude is a great programmer: it literally writes code to manipulate the deck, hand-editing XML and hoping it doesn't break anything else in the middle. The real test isn't creating something once — it's whether it can make surgical edits like you want. That's what I did in this video walkthrough and my claude crushed it! Check it out for yourself. So decks can be built like a designer now — with real flavor and taste. If you spend hours every week on decks, this gives those hours back. We built a neat tool that lets you convert a directory of Powerpoint files into clean, structured markdown - that Claude Code / agent SDK / any generalized agent wrapper can easily understand. The pptx skill in Claude Code is quite basic and doesn’t have high-fidelity understanding over graphics/charts/tables. Our project Surreal Slides uses LlamaParse to convert presentations into clean structured data that you can put into a db (SurrealDB) for simple retrieval, without having to take screenshots of the data on the fly. here's how I generate beautiful emails using Paper and claude code for humblytics 1) I scraped all of our existing emails and outlined in our obsidian notes 2) ran my marketing-strategist skill to analzye existing open/close rates, pull context from our app and rewrite the entire email 3) connect to the paper mcp, open up claude code, and reference the new emails it just rewrote 4) design the entire email in paper, refine it, then when you're done ask claude code to export is as a .mjml file 5) load the .mjml file and you're done you now have emails that are on brand and designed to your specs

curl This is our Meta-Prompt. It allows LLMs to understand our Reader, Embeddings, Reranker, and Classifier APIs for improved codegen. Using the meta-prompt is straightforward. Just copy the prompt into your preferred LLM interface like ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever works for you, add your instructions, and you're set. In this example, we copied the entire prompt into Anthropic Claude and asked it to grab every sentence from Hacker News front page and visualize them using UMAP with matplotlib. This task is nontrivial as it combines multiple APIs from our Search Foundation, like Reader and Embedding where Claude may not have knowledge of. So if you asked Claude directly, it probably wouldn't give an optimal answer. But with the meta-prompt, Claude now has good knowledge about our APIs and can generate much better code! We can copy paste the code directly to Google Colab and with minimum modification, the code just works!
