I tried this so you don't have to. I know this is going to absolutely shock you but no this does not match the performance of Mythos. A few early thoughts: 1. The limits are pretty bad. I used 100% of my 5-hour usage in less than 1 prompt. 2. I specifically gave it a threejs task because it is an area that SOTA models have made big strides in, that other models just are not great at. I asked it to build a replica of Rocket League. I'll put the prompt in the comments. The game was pretty bad and notably worse than GPT 5.5. Even after multiple fixes, it took 7-8 back and forth with Codex just to get it an almost playable condition. Prior to these fixes, the game was not playable. Maybe it's really strong in other disciplines. I'd love to test that but I hit my limit in 1 prompt lol. GPT 5.5 by contrast did a pretty good job and required no follow ups. Fable would have absolutely nailed this as well. But yeah, early impressions...not great. But I hope I'm wrong. More testing tomorrow.

Over the weekend, I added multiplayer "paint ball" dogfight to Tiny Skies, so players can fly around pelting each other with colourful paint balls, just for fun. I tried meshy and tripo to generate some 3D models for the game and the mesh vertices count are really high and lags the game a lot (probably because my game is a globe with thousands of objects - albeit mostly instanced). To my surprise, I found Gemini 3.1 Pro to be really quite good at generating good looking 3D models that are low in poly count. It generated 3D models at a much higher quality than Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6 and GPT 5.4. You can see the upgraded biplane models and some objects in the video below. #vibejam

To the ones who called me a liar, who knew the truth and covered it up, and who took part in it - your nightmare has only begun, as I plan on naming you, and taking every legal action I can against you.

📢 I’m testing ViggleAI new AI tool, PINOC, and it’s seriously impressive. You can create 3D Gaussian splatting models from just one image and animate them with a video! It’s the first AI I’ve tried that can animate Gaussian splatting models. I also talked to someone from Viggle, and they might add the option to import your own Gaussian splatting models and animate them. If that happens, I’ll probably make a video tutorial showing how to boost the detail level of a Gaussian splatting model by 4x to create highly realistic animated characters.

FIRST TEST Seedance 2.0! From my initial tests, this is one of the more impressive AI video models I’ve tried so far. Dynamic motion feels fluid, prompt adherence is solid, and the efficiency really stood out, very little iteration needed. Everything you see here was generated using just one reference image + one prompt. I also tested a 3×3 image grid with no prompt at all, and the results stayed surprisingly consistent. Grok 4.5 and Muse Spark 1.1 are now available on the AI/ML platform for testing. What a week; all 3 models in the comparison dropped just recently. There will be a lot to experiment with. AI/ML has tested the new models on prompts for playable mini-games, including a Fruit Ninja-style slicer and a Crossy Road clone. All three are live in the Playground and via API for side-by-side runs on output and cost.

✨ I made a little demo of #vibejam sponsor Tripo and how you can use it to generate assets for your games In this case I'm generating an apartment flat that's half destroyed and open for my drone sim to fly around, take cover and shoot at enemies from First I write the prompt and select Nano Banana to generate an image first, I get a few different ones, and I select the one I like Then that one is converted into a 3d object called a Smart Mesh Smart Mesh is different than regular image-to-3d models because usually you get issues with uneven polygon distribution, too dense geometry and poor edge flow, so while you think you save time with generating it with AI you end up doing lots of editing after to fix the topology which kinda defeats the point Smart Mesh doesn't have any of this, it's fast and clean low-poly models you can drop into your game Anyway, after generating the model I can then see it in 3d, and if I don't like it, regenerate it, or if I like it start texturing it Once that's done, I export it as a GLB, FBX or OBJ and drop it in (usually I use GLB as ThreeJS seems to prefer that), in my case I just drop the URL into Cursor and let it figure out the placement of the asset into my game!

As it turns out, GPT 5.5 is also pretty good at building in CAD! This is insanely impressive compared to just a few months ago. Required a handful of extra prompts though, $45 in cost, roughly. I don't think we're that far away from models being able to build almost anything.

I see plenty of interest and questions about ASMR models the past few days. No you don't need to be an ASMRist to get one. Any artist can draw it for you as long as they separate some of the important parts for movement. It's MUCH cheaper than a whole new model and very cost effective for events and fun stuff all year long. Just get a cozy pose to be able to use it with everything else and a few toggles if you wanna be fancy. Art & Rig wise, it's much cheaper. Feel free to ask anything else in the comments.
