I gave ChatGPT Codex an article & screenshot from a famous, lost Maxis simulation, SimRefinery, and asked it to create it for me. It built a playable prototype for me while I did other stuff, never touching any code once, instead just occasionally poking Codex for small changes.

Rohan (Codex PM) showed me exactly how he does it: "I took a screenshot of the Codex composer where you can type in a new message. Then I asked Codex to use Image Gen to prototype 4-5 ideas to improve project selection. I can then ask it to take the first image and make a prototype of it on a Codex site. We usually think of Image Gen as useful for things like turning my hair blue. But it can create amazing digital mocks too." 📌 Full episode:

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

I asked jason (DevEx at OpenAI): “What’s the craziest thing Codex did for you?” Here’s his answer: “I was on a bike ride when a coworker asked me to fix a launch video. So I connected remotely from my phone and asked Codex to use computer use to edit the video, export it, and post it back to Slack. Twenty minutes later, there was a new video in the Slack thread. Then I told Codex: ‘Every 30 minutes, check the thread for feedback and export V2, V3, V4.’ By the time I got home, the launch video was greenlit.” Codex had handled the revisions by repeatedly checking Slack for feedback. 📌 Watch the full episode here:

I asked ChatGPT to turn everything it knows about me into a portfolio. Then I connected it to Gamma and it built an entire deck in less than 3 minutes. I did not design anything, I did not write anything special. ChatGPT already had the context, Gamma used the context to build something real. Here's exactly how I did it 👇 Open ChatGPT → Go to Settings → Click on Apps → Search for Gamma → Click on `refrence memories and chat` → Connect. That's it. Once connected, start a new chat and give ChatGPT a prompt about yourself. I typed: "Turn my past projects and interests into a portfolio" ChatGPT pulled everything it already knows about me and Gamma turned it into a full structured deck in minutes 🧵

The ball is affected by Earth’s gravity and friction from the hexagon walls. The bouncing must appear realistic. → Tests physics simulation, code planning, and visual realism. ChatGPT 5 won. Grok 4 lost. Note: I waited 7 minutes for Grok 4 to respond but it didn't worked and on the other hand ChatGPT 5 gave me a customizable canvas so I can play around with it.
