There is no ticket checker. AC trains are running late most of the times because opening and closing the doors in such conditions take 2 minutes instead of 45 seconds. They along with numerous long distance trains running on the same tracks collapse the suburban timetable.

I am traveling by local trains since last 30 years and the situation which improved in the first 5 years of Modi Govt is turning from bad to worse. The cost of millions of people reaching office late by 15/30 minutes everyday should be accounted for.

@Central_Railway @AshwiniVaishnaw Oh sure, it’s always the government's fault. Not the absolute lack of basic civic sense. Sometimes I wish we had security personnel with danda duty, maybe that’s the only language people understand.

@Central_Railway @AshwiniVaishnaw There appears to be no viable and lasting solution since locals are running every 3-5 minutes. Deindustrialise mumbai to some extent, and promote in other areas like marathwada etc. Stop new development in Mumbai and over obsession about it being Fin Capital etc..

@Central_Railway @AshwiniVaishnaw They have no idea of the ground reality. That's the reason the decisions are reactionary.

@Central_Railway @AshwiniVaishnaw In our country govt resources are not as per the growing population. If 10 years 2 trains were running even after 10 years 2 or May be 4 trains are running but population of that area has increased manifold .
