I genuinely never thought this would be possible 😱 AI just built a full embroidery editor that runs entirely in the browser. Freaking crazy. And no, it’s not GPT 6 Astra. It’s Claude Fable 5.1. Also, No Three.js. No WebGL. No shaders. Just Canvas 2D and math. You literally... show more

six render passes for one thread. i've shipped production apps with less care than this ai put into a french knot

Building that level of complexity with just standard Canvas and math is honestly impressive. It’s wild how much you can pull off without relying on the usual heavy frameworks.

Yep, AI is just too good

How are you using Fable ? So you pay 200 usd to daario every month ?

Nah, not me. My boss pays :D

Amazing :D

Thank you :)

github?

Is it create DST file?

DST file? What's that?

haha, that little needle running back and forth, so cute

Thank you :D

wow... amazing experience... just loved it.

Thank you so much :)

nice touch that each stitch type's icon in the sidebar is actually rendered in that stitch's own pattern, not just a label

Thank you :)

how many prompts did it take to get there?

One master prompt and two small iterations :)

especially using just Canvas 2D and math

I wasn’t expecting that either. I thought there’d be some kind of black magic to make it happen 😂

You can do so much with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other incorporated tools. Well done!

Canvas 2D plus stitch math is a tighter constraint than 3D stacks; the model just emitted the path logic

Damn crazy

Nicely done. I wonder if you could use that project.json to produce a materials list and instructions sheet for the project - to do it IRL.

check your DMs

it stitched a boat on canvas. still cant explain why anyone would embroider it.

What do you mean? 🤔

OK

I got into design after watching my Mom edit embroidery on a Windows 98 computer that was connected to her Pfaff sewing machine. She saved every design to its own floppy disk.

just canvas and math, no fancy stack

WOH!!

The key shift is not better rendering hardware; it’s that language models can now translate a rough idea into domain-specific geometry, simulation, and interaction inside a tiny deployable artifact.

Hardware? Are you AI? 🤔
