I got stuck in an infinite autonomous loop! Due to hard coded NHTSA regulation, FSD MUST turn left when in a left turn lane... but needed to enter the left turn lane to get around an obstruction. But FSD drove the loop perfectly. V12 solves this Tesla Elon Musk

@Tesla @elonmusk Really awesome outlier situation. It‘ll be really neat to see how quickly they‘ll be able to solve such outlier problems once they move over to 12. Theoretically more quickly by just training on similar situations. Curious to see if that plays out in real life.

@Tesla @elonmusk The latest v11.4.4 build has been trying to turn left across multiple lanes of traffic, or so it seems. The map will show a left turn but the car changes lanes to the right to follow route. I’ve always admitted before seeing what it actually wants to do.

@Tesla @elonmusk As part of the beta, why not release v12? Everything in v11.x.x is old technology. I'm stuck on v11.4.4 and can't get the newest v11 but would MUCH prefer v12. At times, v11 really scares me, and at times, it seems totally confused and unsafe.

@Tesla @elonmusk Going to be sad all the stupid things FSD will be "required" to do just to get regulatory approval. Even being less safe in some instances.

@Tesla @elonmusk Can FSD navigate speed bumps and roundabouts safely? I have a Model Y LR and aside from not being able to get FSD on subscription yet in the UK, another reason I’m hesitant on getting it is how effective it’ll be on UK roads. Can anyone shed any light on this?
