I have never played an FPS on a controller in my life. Literally not 1 hour. Only thing I played on controller is adventure single player games and FIFA. After a horrible 2 days of XDefiant Ranked without Input Based Matchmaking (the best thing about XDefiant pubs) I took...

You thinking you shouldn’t be able to go positive in a non SBMM game is the craziest part of this post ngl

Not on an input I never played before. When I started playing shooters on mnk I would get my shit rocked in every game lmao

This was my experience trying roller with apex. The input method is just broken as a whole no matter what FPS. It doesn't belong in the genre.

I agree mixed input lobbies needs to be a thing of the past. FPS is big enough that we never ever need crossinput

I honestly think if I played this for a week or 2 Id be doing better in ranked than on mnk. But there's 0 satisfaction to it. When I play IBMM on mnk kills feel very rewarding.

I've played controller for 15 years and MnK for 4. People think im crazy when I say that AA is still insanely strong in Xdefiant. It feels much stronger on smgs than ARs tho

Qullamaggie on The Big Money is Made in Holding Winners “Exactly. Big money is made in the sitting. I absolutely agree. All my biggest winners this year, SE, I was in this thing for what? 4 months? 3 months? Went up 160%. It didn't go up 160% in a day. No, it took 3 months. FSLY, another one. When we bought it on earnings here in the 30s, this thing went up 250%. It didn't go up 250% in a day, it took a couple of months. Now obviously I didn't trade this perfectly, but you know, it's all about catching big moves and catching the big juicy part in the middle. And you're gonna be financially independent in no time. On the big winners, I use the 10 and 20 day moving averages as trailing stops. That’s the mistake I made on NVAX. I really didn't wait for it to close below the 10 day. Like I just randomly sold it because I thought it was extended. Like, ah, it's not going to go up much more. I sold it like on this day here, right? It never even touched the 10 day. It went sideways for like a week. Then went up another 70%. If I had just had used the simple, close below the 10-day, which is what I usually use, the 10 and 20-day moving averages, my trailing stops, I would have made another, I don't know, a lot of money on it. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. So, you know, sometimes it's hard to stick to rules. It's hard. One thing I don't have a hard time with is stop losses, but sometimes, like I said before, holding a big winner is a really really hard thing to do sometimes. It really is. It's just unbelievably hard.”

“You're not entitled to get what you want. I love you. You're entitled to earn what you're willing to go work for. And that's true in our families, in our parenting, in our marriage, in our companies, in society. If we want it, go earn it. If that's positivity, have positivity. I think and I am a positive person. I am jacked. I am excited. Obviously, you can feel my energy through technology here, I hope. Frankly, think positive people just need to get a lot stronger. I really do. I mean, I don't want to call them weak because people hear that differently but it kind of is. Look, if you want that positivity to stick, you’ve got to get tougher. Not sacrifice your love and your care and your empathy, but you got to get tough. And then we have to figure out how to love the people who are cynical because I don't think there's a ton of bad people in the world and I don't think there's a ton of bad people on teams. But I do think there are people who've been burned out. I do think there are people who have been through things in their lives. They've been through things in their company. They're experiencing stuff somewhere else. For whatever reason, they just kind of got run down and cynical and negative, or whatever. Or they're just wired a little different than we are. And I don't to hate on those people. I want to win those people. They don't have to be like me. They don't have to have my energy. But I want those people on my team. I want to love those people. And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, ‘Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.’ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesn’t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, ‘Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live. I don't want do what you guys do.’ And then I really hope that that person leaves us and goes and joins our competitor.”
