it's a rainy friday afternoon, so I'm working on more Tony Stark lab technology 🦾 controlling a 3D globe with hand gestures, powered by Three.js, Cesium, MediaPipe computer vision, and my laptop webcam kindly leave a comment if you'd like a tutorial on building this (step-by-step with code and prompts). If there's interest I'll put that together next week :)

Another cool app built with Grok’s new Build mode using just one prompt. 🔊 Build a beat machine in my browser: a 16-step drum sequencer with classic, 808, techno, and lo-fi kits, tempo and swing controls, and genre presets. Let me beatbox into the mic and turn it into a pattern. Try it here:

I made a web game. It's called DVD Dodge 📀 Avoid the bouncing DVD logo and collect coins. You'll need to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge your way to success 🤸‍♀️ To play you just need a regular webcam a willingness to embarrass yourself in front of your neighbours Created using Three.js, Rosebud AI, and mediapipe computer vision for body pose tracking 🔗 game link below

Zakir Hussain passed :( As a kid I spent countless hours playing tabla while listening to cassettes of Hussain and would try to emulate him He played with Beatles, Grateful Dead etc, made it cool for me to play an Indian hand drum His Jugalbandi (improv duets) were legendary:

small easter egg / detail, when holding arrow keys on char select, it will change selection in sync with the bpm every quarter note there was an implementation before with a different sound that was closer to a hihat and/or snare, so it was like ur playing drum machine

Someone just built a tool that turns any object image into a fully coded, animation-ready 3d model in your browser. just drop a photo and it sculpts the object in pure Three.js code, animation-ready with pivots, physics anchors, and PBR materials. 100% free.

Crazy experience hooking my laptop up to my tv via HDMI and playing a browser-based Three.js game made with AI in a few days with my wireless PS5 controller... Imagine if you can dream up any map on zombies (or any game/world) and play split screen with your friends from your couch using controllers on a Three.js game that runs in the browser… a little input lag on controller movement, but exciting to see where this space can go!

Thanks for the messages about a recording of my Glastonbury set. I do have some clips. When I contacted davidlowemusic and CRISSY CRISS about a Drum&Bass remix of the BBC News theme, it was with the idea of playing it at the end of my set. This was the moment I got to do that.

🎸🥁 Honest Review: AeroBand PocketDrum 2 MAX Air Drum Kit Just watched this guy turn thin air into a full-sounding drum kit and I’m genuinely impressed. This is the AeroBand PocketDrum 2 MAX — two sensor sticks + small Bluetooth modules that let you play a complete electronic drum set anywhere. No massive kit, no noise complaints, no lugging gear. Just sit on a park bench (like in the video) and go. What I like: • Super portable (fits in a backpack) • Solid Bluetooth + MIDI so it works with phones, tablets, or DAWs • Surprisingly convincing drum sounds for practice • Great for building speed, coordination, and timing without a full kit Reality check: The sound quality depends on what you plug it into (headphones or a good speaker sound way better than the built-in). There’s a tiny bit of latency if you’re a pro, but for 95% of players it’s perfect. If you’re a drummer who wants to practice on the go, jam silently at home, or just mess around in the park — this thing is legit fun.

So, just learning that when standard tracks failed on M113 APCs in Vietnam’s deep mud, crews bolted specialized capstan drum hubs directly onto the front drive sprockets. By wrapping a heavy rope around the spinning hubs and anchoring it to a tree or auger, the crew turned the vehicle’s engine into a powerful capstan winch to pull themselves free. Brilliant.🫡
