Some fan MMDs have bugs when converted like this. If you encounter this, try using this utility: This utility is a bit easier, but my method can convert models it can't. Between the two methods I've been able to convert all the MMDs I've tried.

Thanks to @trashisfire we have a fix for if you think the models are dark and want them brighter. It can be adjusted by changing all materials shaders to VRM10 > Universal Render Pipeline > MToon10 and then setting the Matcap to black. I bet you use light theme discord too... 😂

Just tried converting the Pekora MMD and ran into the same issue. It looks like Unity isn't finding the textures when unpacking the PMX. It'll take some work, but I recorded a video on how you can fix it.
