Love this from #Illini head coach Brad Underwood - asked if he has any issue/finds it unfair to have to play Houston IN Houston in the Sweet 16. "I could care less... I'm an old JUCO ball coach. I drove on 16 passenger fans. I drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona for a basketball game... If you had told me back then that I'm getting to coach basketball in the Sweet 16 and play Houston - I would sign up for it, I would crawl to get there." Says regardless of where the game is, Illinois would/will need to play well to beat the Cougars. (Video from NCAA)

Despite the framing of age verification infrastructure as an innocent child protection measure, in practice the system forces everyone over 16 to prove their identity with a digital ID. Once in place, digital ID soon becomes a requirement for access to banking, government services, travel, financial transactions, and even voting—enabling authorities to shut down dissenting voices.

I wrote some new code to drive X-Plane directly rather than using the internal FDR playback, this lets me add in the Helicopter. Given the lack of precise data on the helicopter's route I made a rough estimate on speed and altitude. And you can see it's hidden against city lights for a long time. Be aware that the cockpit model is likely to be different and there's no data being sent to the gauges.
