I mean - same basic setup. Open every time. I'm not trying to be combative here. But same teams - same out route. You can absolutely beat man coverage.

worth noting i was throwing the out route vs inside shade not inside commit man coverage CAN be beaten...nobody is saying otherwise there's just things that don't make sense about it right now also i want you to think about this from a comp player's perspective what exactly is skillful about calling cover 2 man and letting your cpu defenders do everything for you?

For comp players: you call offense to beat the defense in front of you. idiots run C2 Man all night - you call offense to beat it. You don't kill something that is good because comp players don't like it. This is a convo EVERY YEAR with comp players and man coverage, and I normally stay in my lane. Problem is this affects offline now too, and I'm simply not standing aside and watching the game get broken for us again.

And FWIW - this is with Shade, not Commit Maybe our practice modes are weird? Legit thought - practice mode has all kinds of issues at times.

If it's the formation - then we can see that it can be beat (although I will say that defender has like 74 MCV so it's an extreme example). If it's PMode (which we BOTH know it could be) who the F knows LOL

yeah who knows all i know is we're both passionate about our experience on the game i hope you know the intention is never to ruin the game for anybody although i'm aware it can be a side effect i don't think there's a way to make us all happy without separation of modes tbh

I 100% know where you're coming from man. This also show why sim/comp modes were made in Madden. And normally I have ZERO place where you guys roll (I'm good not playing H2H). But we've had 2 years where H2H feedback made College worse with TUs, and I needed to speak up this year.

Also get up and out with your QB if theres no spy. I've gotten chunks with 78/79 speed QBs vs 2 man.

I'm attempting to not do that as a lot of H2H players have loops up the middle, and can't rely on speed for a lot of QB's YET. Really want to find a way to beat it from the pocket. But I'm with you on this.

Each of the stunts have gaps for the QB to escape through. Texas 4 man you get the edge rather easily, El Paso you can go right through the middle, Pirate 3 man and tom right through where the DT left.

1000% (it's actually why I advocate vs CPU players to stunt less on defense this year lol). I'm just being stubborn and wanting to throw a solution.

I think the main thing I can't wrap my head around is why you two had consistently different experiences with effectively the same set up. It's clear the DB in Ace's video jumped the route underneath right at the cut and he wasn't doing it for yours. IDK what the difference is
