I never understood why this movie received so much negativity; I really enjoyed it.

I think the villain was bad and the writing not great. Otherwise like you I liked it but it could have been a lot better.

the mistake was to put deadpool as green lantern.

It aged very well & imo is the most well aged superhero movie idc what anyone says.

Better than most MCU trash and Mark Strong was perfect casting for Sinestro

Well the visual effects were handled by a large number of different companies, it sort of made it lack visual consistency, then the narrative was attempting to cram too many plot elements and characters into a single film 😩

It came at the wrong time we need the new one

Mark Strong is a solid grounding & believability presence in any movie he's in no matter the genre.

Someone finally said it. I loved Green lantern. It's one of my favorite DC Movies. Yeah. Paralax was terrible but the movie was good. People just hated it cus Reynolds did

bro is a high end fighter pilot, then goes on to show a weak understanding of physics when using his constructs, horrible writting.

Simple: when you can create ANYTHING, imagination has a big role. This movie had an interesting plot, but terrible writing. The writers had pitifully poor imagination, which made all characters appear DUMB.
