Funny thing Is the wacky combo system got introduced for first time on the snes port of denjin makai 1, for the sequel they put a damage scaling system as a nerf Since you can TOD bosses on that port

Thanks for the heads up cause I was gonna look at DM1 to see how it compares 👌 From what you said this is one of those neat cases where the port is way cooler than the og (like Fatal Fury 2 or Pit Fighter on genesis where it lets you cancel everything)

I think the main boss strats were just mashing your superjoys sadly. It's a really cool game otherwise though
