You gotta try Windsurf next!

Another vim shortcut I love is “vat” to visually select around a tag and then “oo” to jump between the start and end of the tag. Ctrl + d / u to jump half a screen down or up. I have a macro that adds “zz” to the end of that action to center the view.

vim is so powerful

c'mon, Lee! we all know you secretly working on new Vercel Code Editor 🫣 v0 + vscode Fork = v0v Editor (i'm calling the name)

Interestingly, I had the exact same path and finally landed on cursor. I started with vscode, tried vim / neovim, then came to zed (missing the git ui) and then coming back to vscode fork 😅 cursor.

really appreciative of your willingness to help with @zeddotdev! we've been working hard to get you and more folks from the Vercel team daily driving Zed full time 🙂

It's great that you mentioned avante.nvim :D

V0 is solid, but there is always a uniformity in UI’s black-and-white clearly shadcn driven. No doubt, It provides killer functional components, but the design’s starting to feel obvious.

You can just ask it to change the theme
