changing friends to “connections” was a dumb move.. a player should be able to choose to call it friends or connections in their setting so its not forced on you and for people to more understand it..

hi i thought i'd inform you (if you even see this) that trusted connections, if the two are of varying age groups that could not normally chat, cannot even chat INGAME. trusted connections is a purely roblox dm thing. ingame chat is unaffected by trusted connections.

Trusted connections work with ages 13+, so the 10 year old wouldn't be able to add their parent.

That's why I'm quitting Roblox in a few months anyway... And after I quit, I'm going to migrate to Minecraft or Farming Simulator, Like I said before.

I don’t get how “trusted connections” even work. I tried to make my friends trusted connection and even after hours of searching off site on how to do it I couldn’t figure it out. Answer I got was that you can only have a trusted connection 1 age group above you. So I don’t know

That’s so true! I do play games with my kids and had no idea about this trusted connection, we haven’t age verified yet as I’m not 100% sure on sharing my children’s faces on a gaming platform

@Roblox has to moderate tens of millions of messages and accounts a day, so of course the system is going to be strict ;-; Parents pushed for safety, and now the filters are pushed to the extreme which ironically makes it harder for kids to talk with their friends and parents.
