I tested Github Copilot's latest "Cursor killer" features, and the results were... not as I expected Here's my in-depth review of Copilot vs Cursor:

LOL dude, yes! I was shocked in the same way as you. Endless UX issues and failing on simple changes. Crazy to see the quality difference despite both using Sonnet 3.5

had the same issue with hallucination even after providing the context from the documentation. tagging web into cursor and asking it to reference the latest doc worked first try.

Congrats to @cursor_ai and @windsurf_ai While we may all have access to o3 like reasoning soon, the real magic will happen with extensions, memory, and UX. Healthy competition drives us all to innovate - excited to see what's ahead! 🚀 @mariorod1

I 💙 Cursor

Great vid, thanks! I wanted to switch back to vscode for a bit to try claude there, but now I don't need to 😅

Shoudn't you comparing both free and both lower cost plan side by side instead?

Yes this was my experience as well, it's super slow and pretty bad at editing. The auto complete works like 20% of the time and other times it just gets in the way. Sticking to @cursor_ai for now.

Cursor rules !

I was just as shocked. I’ve never tried copilot before and now that I have, I didn’t miss much 😅
