Can you show me the research and papers that supports your opinion. Do you have any facts to support this? Or is this a personal opinion based on just your guts?

Are you serious? You think struggling students repeating a grade will minimize classroom disruptions?? How to say you don’t understand education without saying you don’t understand education.

Failing students worsens the very underlying reasons they are struggling to thrive at school. It exacerbates drop out, and further marginalizes the most vulnerable students. What we really need is more supports in classrooms. Shouldn’t be hard to get behind teachers on this one.

“If it didn’t work the first time…” Perhaps there’s something missing in the first instance taking away from learning, you know, like more supports, smaller class sizes and classes ranged by academic need (part of why Alberta outperforms Sask because they “pass” kids the same)

At any time during your career in law enforcement did you consider how different someone’s life may have turned out if they had proper supports in place and someone who believed in them in their youth. If it doesn’t begin at home, it begins in schools.

Exactly what does holding students back have to do with reducing disruptions? Research shows holding students back has a negative effect on their progress. And this has little to do with disruptions. That’s just a mind boggling take.
