I try to properly explain the updates to blur in 10.0 (By not writting a script and making it up on the spot) Sorry, I've been sick since New Year's, so my voice is a little off.

I think I need to adjust the falloff so it doesn't become so visible so quickly in realistic mode but it's a work in progress and I'm figuring it all out still

I took some time to update grab pass and ssao for poiyomi 10.0, and I finally figured out how to make the screenspace effects completely stable even when resolution, fov, and size change. What you see in Unity should now be exactly what you get in VR, on desktop, in the camera, etc... The refraction example is poiyomi 10.0 on the right

Sorry I've been away for so long with no updates. I broke my toe a few weeks ago and have been feeling a bit down while I heal. I can safely say I'm on the mend now that I can walk in my new lockable ballet boots. More to come soon'ish.

I think I can finally say I'm happy with the GrabPass blur and refraction shader. It always had a few problems, but I think with 10.0 we've finally ironed almost all of them out

🩵i've been taking voice lessons lately. so when my throat gets a little tired..i put one finger in front of my mouth. this is how i do it, so that the sound can be gathered a little bit. if your throat doesn't completely relax, if you overused your throat, try to do it once

"He's been one of my favorite players since I was a kid, basically. A guy I've looked up to. I've talked with him a little bit here and there, just one of the greats in the game." - J.T. Miller on Anže Kopitar

seungkwan's full story about his knee condition.. take away his pain please :( 🍊 my knees gotten a little bad. it became a chronic condition. i have to be careful with running [now]. i once ran for a long time. the next day after that, i went up on a hill and [my knees] felt wobbly wobbly. i think that's when the knee pain really started.. since then, i've been receiving continuous treatment and rehabilitation little by little and it got better. while performing at concert, sometimes it hurts a bit and things like that, but it's not something very serious 🐱 still you have to take care of yourself consistently 🍊 i have to, since inevitably our job requires us to keep dancing 🎀 then isn't it bad when you go up stairs? 🍊 yea even going up, i think [while stepping was] 'this is bad'. so i pause halfway going up 🎀 try not to use stairs much now 🐱 but they say for the knee, going down is worse than going up. so take the elevator when going down instead. and when going up, use your back well and your gluteus medius (hip muscles) properly 🍊 right i do it that way so that fluid doesn't build up in my knees

I had the initial idea for the ALLEIKHREOS intro while camping in the wilderness without a computer. I suddenly woke up at 3am with a full track in my head, and had to run to the bathroom (as to not wake my friends) and use my voice memos to get the idea down. Listening to me trying to explain it to my future self is so funny 😂

I've been working on a shader to generate particles from the surface of a mesh. It's turning out really cool so far

🎙️ Christian Anderson on the key to his shooting success: "I've been working on it ever since I was young. I've always been the best shooter everywhere I went... just being in the gym countless hours, working on my shot." "When it didn't feel right, going to the gym, working on my shot. If I didn't shoot well in the game, going back to the gym the same night, working on my shot. I put so many hours into developing and trying to get to a point where my shot felt perfect, and I've been doing that my whole life."

I’ve been looking for a spot to explain the nice guy strategy in the sportsbetting world (and my theory on how it trumps winning) and tonight’s spaces Elf was the perfect spot. #sportsbetting

Changing the color of a texture is pretty lame, so I've been experimenting with different techniques and have stumbled upon a really interesting way to tint the color while preserving perceived brightness.

It's the anniversary of the "Scream Queens" package I edited for last year's SAG Awards airing. Still so proud of it, and SO many actresses I've looked up to since I was a kid reached out to me to tell me how much they liked it.
