Just tested Runway Aleph 2.0 and this blew my mind a bit lol I saw a video like this when Aleph first released and with the new Aleph 2.0 I wanted to create my own version. You basically select a single frame from the video, apply a change to that specific frame using Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 or Gen-4 and based on the newly generated image Aleph propagates the change through the entire shot. It's really cool seeing the whole sequence adapt from just one edited frame

so im trying Runway Aleph 2.0 on my own footage. this time i wanted to see how far i can push the scene without changing the original motion. i changed the character and some visual elements but the camera movement, timing and performance stay almost exactly the same. what i like is it only changes the part i ask for instead of regenerating the whole shot from scratch. i can test different creative directions from the same footage, which is really useful for ads or content production when you want multiple versions without having to reshoot everything again. one footage, multiple possibilities.

Until now, Veo 3 videos couldn’t go beyond the 8 seconds per generation limit. But that just changed. Runway has officially rewritten the rules with Aleph (great name, by the way — very Borgesian). Take a look at what I managed to do here: I generated multiple shots with different camera perspectives of the same Kraken attack sequence — from the helmsman’s point of view, from a sailor sinking beneath the waves, from the ship itself as it’s torn apart by a massive tentacle... In total: 38 seconds of video, all built from a single animation. Until now, only Lumalabs let you get different shots from the same scene — but with zero control over the final outcome. It’s been a while since Runway truly surprised me, but with Aleph, they’re back at the very top of the AI video game 🔥
