Just tested Runway Aleph 2.0 and this blew my mind a bit lol I saw a video like this when Aleph first released and with the new Aleph 2.0 I wanted to create my own version. You basically select a single frame from the video, apply a change to that specific frame using Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 or Gen-4 and based on the newly generated image Aleph propagates the change through the entire shot. It's really cool seeing the whole sequence adapt from just one edited frame

We came across a really interesting tool that fixes a pretty common problem inside AI video workflows: extending AI cinematic scenes with seamless continuity. Using Omni models, you can take the last frame from an existing video clip and prompt something like: “show me what happens next in the video, use the last frame as the start frame” and it actually creates a second clip with surprisingly good continuity from the original shot. But you know how when you try stitching two clips together in Premiere Pro, you can usually spot the exact transition point? The exposure shifts slightly, the lighting bounces, or something just feels off enough that you can tell the clips don’t fully belong together. Well this new tool called SeeDance 2 Stitcher from TomLikesRobots🤖 automatically blends the two clips together in a much more seamless way and honestly the results are pretty impressive.

Using Nano Banana Pro + Sora, I can now create a short video in just about one minute. I’ve been using Kling for a while to make short videos, and while the results can be great, the workflow has always felt a bit heavy for me. Previously, I had to export the video frame by frame as images, then send those keyframes into Kling’s first/last frame mode to generate the in-betweens. It worked, but it took a lot of time and small steps. Recently I realized I don’t necessarily need to do that anymore: now I can use Nano Banana Pro to generate the images, then send them directly to Sora to create the short video—no need to manually extract a specific frame. Another bonus is that Sora also handles basic sound design for you, which saves me from an extra round of editing and makes the whole process feel much lighter. This idea actually came from a post I saw this morning on Twitter by SD | AI Animation Storyteller, which gave me a new way of thinking about my workflow. I’m still experimenting, but so far it’s been a big improvement in efficiency for my use case. I’ve put the detailed steps I’m using in the comments in case anyone wants to try something similar.

It's not just about the quality of the output, but about how much control you have over your video's look. Watch my video here. I'm attaching reference images and asking the model to generate a video using them. I can reference each image using the @ symbol to instruct the model which image to use. You can even upload a clip and use its camera movement, styles from an image, and audio vibe from a track. By the way, you can take an existing video and replace, remove, or add elements to it while the model preserves everything else. This is the closest we've gotten to "editing videos like photos".
