Your “terms of engagement” are a veto dressed up as policy: freeze the projects, federalize the rules, then lecture utilities. Michigan doesn’t have a shortage of speeches. It has a shortage of power that actually stays on. You tell CNN you’re not a socialist and you “believe in capitalism.” Then you campaign with Hasan Piker — the streamer who said America deserved 9/11 — and you called asking about it a “gotcha.” That’s the tell. The mask comes off the second the cameras aren’t set to “reasonable doctor.” Data centers are a real fight: water, rates, siting, who pays for the substations. Adults argue permits, contracts, and who eats the megawatts. You argue “the corporations” like that’s a statute. If the answer is “Mike Rogers bad, corporations bad, trust me,” you don’t have a plan. You have a primary. Michigan already lived through the lecture. It needs a grid.
