A converging chest press builds more pec than a barbell bench, and the barbell crowd has been too busy defending the barbell to check. The pec has one job. It pulls the upper arm across the body. That is the movement. That is the whole muscle. The barbell locks your hands 60cm apart and forbids it. Every rep, the pec is asked to shorten and told it may not. I was taught to do this as a kid in India, still feels super wrong to me but sometimes I have to do it to make the outlet work: sticking something in the 3rd grounding pin of an electrical outlet to make it work with a 2 pin plug. Do other people do this?

We Minecraft now? It took almost 10 straight hours of work, but you can now paint in the first-person view instead of the orbital view! This was a super complicated feature, so there are almost certainly a number of edge cases that I forgot about. Let me know how it feels!

I remembered why I never leave the bacon strips whole in omelettes after I tried to cut it with a fork. But it worked out even better than I imagined. This was 4 eggs, 2 oz of Boursin and 6 pieces of bacon and it was the best omelet I ever had.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD

Today, I was in one of Geneva's parks when suddenly a plane flew overhead. Because of the trauma I experienced in Gaza, my first instinct was fear. For a moment, I thought it was going to drop a missile on us. Then, a few seconds later, I remembered that I am in Switzerland now, and that I am safe. War changes people in ways that are difficult to explain. Even when you leave, some parts of it remain inside you. My body may be here in Switzerland, but my memories are still in Gaza.
