ICON has unveiled a next-generation construction 3D printer that improves on older gantry systems. It moves on tracks between sites, reducing setup time and labor. With a 70-foot print radius, it can build multi-story structures up to 27 feet tall and 110 feet long faster and more affordably.

It can ascend to 200 meters and put out fires in areas unreachable for conventional fire engines. The copter deploys in under a minute and sprays water up to 45 meters. According to the developers, the system will allow for much faster response to fires in tall structures. Deployment of these vehicles will begin this month.
