If Anika from Germany can learn Kannada, why is it such a problem for aggressive North Indians?

90% of Kannadigas studied English for atleast 10 yrs. However, most cannot speak proper English. If Kannadigas with formal training in English cannot speak proper English, how can you expect someone to learn Kannada without formal education?
