Because China has a capitalist economy that engages in widespread intellectual property theft. They pair a relatively free economic system with a political system that is a brutal communist dictatorship.

Because they aren't communist at all, despite their name They're a homogenous fascist ethnostate, and yes, that works very well

China isn't communist—it's state capitalism with CCP authoritarian control. Mao's pure communism brought famine & stagnation. Deng's 1978 reforms ditched it for private enterprise, foreign investment, markets, & profit motives. Skyscrapers & growth? From capitalist tools, not collective farms. CCP rules politically, but economy runs on competition & billionaires—not Marx.

LOL China is about as far from communism as they come. You didn't bother to do any research before you posted this did you?

You gotta be retarded if you believe 5-6 city centers is good representation of china. 240 M ppl in china has to survive at $7,85/day Besides a few pocket china is 3rd world shithole developing country, that receives foreign aid via WHO, World Bank, UN and IMF.

Exactly. China lifted 800 million people out of poverty. Built the world's fastest trains. Became a spacefaring superpower. All under communism. The 'communism doesn't work' lie is Western propaganda to hide their own failures. China is proof that a people-centered system works

🇨🇳 China is still far behind the West. Over 30 million peasants still live in caves like her, without electricity, running water, indoor flushing toilets and indoor heating😭 500 million peasants earn lesser than $140 per month.

its almost as though China is NOT communist Jackson. 😂 What exactly is communist about China? Its more of a ultra capitalist totalitarian one party state that exploits its sweat shop workers which I thought communism was meant to fix?

China has a large population. Even if they are poorer on average, or at the median, or at every percentile, they will still have a large number of rich people who will live in nice cities and buildings.

If communism is so great, why are you not living in China.....or at least a socialist country?

What if "communism" wasn't the deciding factor, but rather something more fundamental? 👇🏼 China has been succeeding because it put its people and humanity first as demonstrated by its government by continuely investing peoples taxes into things that benefit the people and humanity. A democracy could also work well if it also put its people first and demonstrates that it is able to invest peoples taxes to benefit the people. I think putting people and humanity first is something most of the world can agree on regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, etc...

Because the party is directing resources to urban centres while 15% of the population live on under $5.50/ day. My question is why you, a communist, don't care about inequality because it's in China?

China has its version of Alexander Hamilton’s National Banking. Below market lending, combined with tax credits (like JFK had in mind) and other incentives to develop, produce is beyond any other nation. China didn’t just benefit from the “self-inflicted” wound of the US adopting globalization (shutting down factories / firing US employees to move to China), China also improved designs. Contrary to popular opinions that say China “stole” American ideas, China develops and innovates and has increased its citizen’s purchasing price parity. China makes iPhones, but they feel no need to “steal” that, opting to develope Huawei; China has Tesla factories, but doesn’t “steal” that, opting to build far superior EV designs. But the main thing is not buzzwords like “freedom” or “capitalism” or “communism,” but rather that as Alexander Hamilton defined in his Reports on Manufacturing/National Banking, a nation that has an interest in the General Welfare of its citizens, invests in those technologies, industries, etc that BENEFIT its CITIZENS. America, Europe went off the rails when we went away from that idea as defined in its founding documents. Thus, China wins, regardless of the label.

China built its country stealing the ideas and patents of free men. Had it not been for free thinking American and European men, China would still be fighting with spears and horses. There isn’t much wind when your driving behind a mac truck.

China didn’t get advanced by following the Communist manifesto, In 1978, China’s GDP was roughly $150 billion. Today, it’s over $20.85 trillion. That didn't happen because of state-run grain elevators, it happened because they opened Special Economic Zones, invited the Fortune 500, and let 400 million people participate in the most aggressive market competition in history.

China stopped trying Marxism-Leninism in 1978. No nation has ever really been communist because Marxism is impossible to actually implement so all you get is a brutal totalitarian regime and slaves instead of willing workers. Revolutionaries always believe mass murder is justified if they really believe it's "for the revolution." They then find out that nothing can really be produced under the whip, so they eventually collapse. Mao was leading China down that fanatical path. After he was safely dead and his minions eliminated, China turned to a Fascist economic model to open up foreign trade and use slave labor controlled by the state.

Lmao now show the rest of the country and its history. This "advancement" came at the direct cost of tens of millions of its citizens lives and their heritage. Scum sucking idiots will obfuscate for all kinds of extremely, shockingly evil and vile things.
