If Green Lantern can create anything with his ring… why doesn’t he just create Kryptonite against Superman?

Because the ring makes constructs, not real radioactive space rocks. Also the movie would be 12 minutes long.

The ring makes hard-light constructs, not actual radioactive matter from a destroyed planet. A fake kryptonite rock would look pretty but wouldn’t weaken Superman any more than a green flashlight

As far I know Guy Gardener, doesn't know full capabilities or the rarity of kryptonite is to the universe, which in turn, it will be a copycat of space rock, There's a risk that it won't work and that gives Superman a big reason to beat him up!

Fair, but horror teens are usually terrified amateurs with no plan. Green Lantern is a trained cosmic cop with a ring that can make whatever he can imagine so the shortcut should at least occur to him. That’s the difference.

The ring can emit kryptonite radiation. It already has. The real limit is that Hal would rather fight Superman with a giant green boxing glove than become Lex Luthor with extra steps.
