This. Students that understand this are immune from "I've forgotten which fraction I'm supposed to flip" too.

You deserve a Nobel Peace prize just for this explanation.

There is absolutely no need to ever use "keep change flip." "If you are dividing by a fraction, keep change flip" vs "If you are dividing by a fraction, multiply by the reciprocal." The latter: only 1 vocabulary term, and correct use of vocab.

I personally never say it in my classroom. I just use it in quotes in videos because so many people in the general public know it as that.
