If your wrist is severely cupped, and u flex it as a feel, the hope is that it goes to a flat position You’d film it and check

Do this with your lead wrist in the downswing to close the face & compress the golf ball! During the downswing, you want your lead wrist moving TOWARDS flexion (bowing) I will admit, it's a difficult movement to learn, but you do see this with a lot of elite ball strikers Also something to note... This is suited to a neutral/weak grip type. If you have a really strong grip, doing this will excessively close the face, so take that into consideration Work on this at the range & you'll get better at it 👊

Here is a simple way to achieve the perfect wrist angles at the top of the swing WITHOUT spending any money on training aids! Grab a tee & place it inside the velcro of your glove. The end of the tee should be resting on your wrist. If you "cup or extend" the lead wrist at the top of your swing, you'll feel the tee digging in You want to feel the lead wrist flatten so the tee doesn't dig into the wrist. DON'T hit balls with the tee in the glove. When you are ready to hit a ball, take the tee out to avoid it digging in during the through swing 👊

Squaring The Face Controlling your golf ball is all about managing the club face. Understanding the how the arms will influence the club face is key. The lead arm will have some internal rotation in the backswing, therefore we will need to add external rotation to this arm through the release. If we fail to do this, we will leave the face open and often bring in more chicken wing/scoop patterns through contact. Learning to externally rotate the lead arm will help you keep a flat lead wrist and deliver a stronger loft.
