Over easy eggs were the first eggs I ever made and I hated breaking the yolks. The trick is to keep the yolk as close to the pan as possible when you flip it. You can position the yolk to the very edge of the white with your fingers or a spatula. Use medium low heat and you only need about 30 seconds to solidify the white.

We’re Being Scammed The Requirement For “Cage Free Eggs” Just Means They Have Access To Outdoors But There Is “No Guarantee That They Go Outside Or Can Even Get Outside” “I started to notice we're getting scammed on pricing here. Eggs in my local supermarket. These eggs right here that say cage free very recently, they changed the look of the packaging here to say cage free, and the price was from a $1.79 to now ... This generic brand on the cheapest, plainest white eggs that used to be a $1.79 is utilizing a BS term or label that they put on their package to more than double the price. As some of you guys know, cage free just Just means that they're not in a tiny little cage. Same thing with free range. It means they have access to outdoors, but there's no guarantee that they actually go out there or that they can't even get out there and all these different brands are utilizing these logos like here, free range free range for $7.49. So they're tricking people into paying $7, $8, $9, $10 for a dozen eggs. Basically the same as the cheap eggs. All the plain white eggs they sell at Costco in the 2 dozen and the 5 dozen pack, those are all cage free. And you know what? They're only $2 a dozen. My grocery store here now doesn't allow you to buy any eggs at all for less than $4 a dozen, and they're the cheapest ones. If you're gonna spend extra on cage free or free range. You may as well spend a dollar or 2 more and get something organic.”

🧀🥚 CRISPY CHEESE CRUSTED DEVILED EGGS 🥚🧀 Everyone’s been asking, so here’s the recipe — and it’s SO simple. What you need: • Deviled eggs, halved • 1 beaten egg (for washing) • Finely shredded cheese (Parmesan, white cheddar, Asiago — your call) • 2 tbsp butter How to make them: Heat butter in a skillet until it JUST starts to brown, that’s your sweet spot. Dip the flat side of each deviled egg into the egg wash, then press into the shredded cheese. Pack extra cheese on top because more is more. 🧀 Place them face-down in the pan for 4-5 minutes, or until you see the cheese around the edges turn deep golden brown. Slide a spatula underneath, flip onto your plate, and VOILÀ. Crispy. Cheesy. Perfect. ✨ Top with hot sauce or salsa if you’re feeling spicy. NATURALLY DYED EASTER EGGS! Credit and instructions below are from the brunchwithbabs instagram account: INGREDIENTS: 4 cups of water for each ingredient 4 cups of shredded beets + onion skins 1/4 cup or Turmeric 2 cups red cabbage (the cabbage absorbs so much water, I use less cabbage for 4 cups of water) 1 Tbsp vinegar + 2 Tbsp more for the egg dye bath INSTRUCTIONS: To each pot, add water, 1 Tbsp of white vinegar and vegetables. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat, cover and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. The longer you boil, the deeper the color will be but don’t boil away your water. After simmering, drain the liquid and let cool. Add the other 1 Tbsp to the container and add hard boiled eggs to the container. Place containers in the fridge overnight and let the magic happen - you’ll even see results just after an hour or two! In the morning, remove eggs from dye liquid and let dry on upside down egg cartons. Eggs will dry matte. Optional: you can rub eggs with coconut or vegetable oil for a light shine. If you want more pastel looking eggs, you don’t have to leave them sitting in the dye overnight - just keep an eye on them!
