I'll always defend this movie, it was a solid sci fi horror with a unique and terrifying concept and cool designs. It was one of my favourite movies as a kid, the spirits gave me nightmares. Imagine being a human in the early days, watching people around you just...

To briefly explain, these things are normally invisible and they aren't solid so they can walk through walls and even people and if they touch you, you drop dead because they literally rip out your soul. So people live in shielded cities and you need a type of flair to make them temporarily visible. Pretty neat concept for a game.

The only real problem was trying to attach the Final Fantasy name to it. Otherwise? Borderline perfect

I love this movie for how weird it is, alien ghosts is such a unique concept and I don't think I've ever seen it done anywhere else. Don't think it fits Final Fantasy, but as its own thing I thought it was cool.

They're kind of like the gnosis from Xenosaga, like they can just phase around and one shot people by touching.

Secret scene on the DVD was amazing.

I agree with a lot of other people, if it wasn't labelled as "Final Fantasy" it would of come off better. Than again it wouldn't of sold as much either, a real Catch 22 for Squinix.

I'll always take a dump on it... they could have called it anything else, but instead chose to call it something it never was.

It was pretty revolutionary when it came out, I remember being blown away at how utterly photo realistic it was.

Shit ending though either way Guaranteed if the Zeus cannon was aiming at some sort of alien mega phantom brain source with a humanity fuck yeah vibe, which kills the phantoms forever, it'd be top sellers of all time But there's a hollow happy resolution for the eldritch monsters that were just misunderstood

Sam Raimi on the making of 'The Evil De@d' (1981) & how 'Halloween' (1978) & other films he watched at the drive-ins inspired him to make movies: "EMPIRE: 'The Evil De@d' (1981) was made for financial reasons, wasn't it? RAIMI: We were just trying to make a movie that would play in the drive-ins. It wasn't really driven by a love of horror. The movies that I'd made up until that point were comedies and dramas, but Rob Tapert said, "If we're going to do this, you've got to learn to make a horror movie." I said, "I don't like horror movies because they scare me!" I had some intense experiences as a kid watching horror movies and I didn't know how to make it fun for me. He said, "Well, let's go see if you can make a horror. I'm going to the theatre and you tell me if you can make a horror movie as good as this." So we went to the theatre and 'Halloween' (1978) was playing! We watched it and he goes, "Well, can you make a movie as good as that? That's a low-budget horror movie!" I said, "I don't think I can!" EMPIRE: That's like watching 'Apocalypse Now' (1979) before making a war movie! RAIMI: (Laughs) I didn't know how famous it was going to be. I was really depressed. But I learned how to make a horror movie. We started to sit through drive-ins. People would give us weird looks: three boys – Bruce Campbell, Rob and myself – sitting in the front seat of a car at the drive-in, which was a make-out place, and we were there, trying to see all the Italian and British and American horror films. We'd see what they would do and go, "Okay, we can't hear what they're doing in the other cars, but those people look like they're afraid!" Then we wrote the script for 'Evil De@d', and I made a Super-8 movie (Within The Woods, starring Campbell) that had some scares in it, and I started to understand what that was about. And then we went to shoot it." (Sam Raimii's interview with Chris Hewitt, Empire, 2009)

Remote Viewer Warns of a Terrifying Coordinated Attack on a Major US City?! Remote Viewer, Daz Smith, looked at April world events and what he got back is potentially concerning... "...So it was large structures, weirdly higher than any of containership. I shouldn't have looked at that a bit more detail, but I didn't. Maybe I just thought it was appropriate, moved it to one side, but definitely large structures." "And it felt like the structures were on fire. So I, you know, asked the question why here? And I felt like there was a ground based attack, that was going to happen in, in, in this city location. And it felt like it was like a bomb attack. And I had, like, this very strong visual of a, white truck or van that might be involved, which I tried to draw here. So the, you know, they had these kind of, modern looking van in front of a, multi-level structure, almost like this, like the entranceway or something of the structure." "So it felt like it was a kinetic event, of lots of explosive energy. It was very loud. There was wide dispersal. Definitely had a terror attack feel. It feels like it was a driven vehicle parts and then detonated, as an act of retaliation. The vehicle fills, larger than a car. Felt very van like, possibly white, possibly have branding on it as well." "...It was strategically positioned, in front of an important structure. The whole thing felt very US based. Just not that weird kind of U.S filled me, getting targets. And I also have a dang tang feel to this as well, so it felt like it was in a large U.S urban city, which gave me the idea of New York. Because maybe because I've been to New York and, you know, just had that, but definitely had an East Coast feel to this..." "...it was definitely driven, implanted..." "...it felt like it was in planning. So they were planning or rehearsing for a future event, which is, you know, what we're looking for, a month ahead. And I had a weird I had a well here, weirdly, of Holy Cross... it starts with fear and panic, and it's like they're just implanting a message.... Trying to timeline this site here. You know, again, this is all very experimental..."

“Because I think a lot of people are familiar with you know, pop stars have these alter egos on stage and then they're also a little bit potentially different behind the scenes. Can you talk about what the difference is between those two personas?” ROSÉ: I think, you know, like I started off as, my whole career started as Blackpink and I feel like it was so much fun creating this character on stage because I'm just from like Australia, like in my bedroom, but like it was so much fun creating this like pop star, like character. It was so much fun. And then I think creating my first solo album, it was my discover of like, you know, who am I? And like when I was naming the album, I really thought a lot about it. There was like options like, you know, number one girl. And then a lot of people did like, what about Rosie? And at first I was like, it seems a bit like narcissistic. I'm not sure. And then it slowly grew on me. And then, you know, just the idea of it being Rosie because Rosé has been such a big part of my life. And that's what we present ourselves as Blackpink, Blackpink Rosé. And I felt like this was very opposite. And so I noticed that it was closer to kind of introducing a different version of me, like because it combined all the stories I would talk about with my friends and family. And they call me Rosie at home. And of course, the online name that the company had made for me from at the beginning of Blackpink, I remember when it happened was like the day before they released my picture, profile picture, they were like, Rosé. And like the name got announced.
