I'm confused, why does this free gacha game seemingly have better looking water than some AAA games?

Gacha games make more money than most AAA games

huh, I wonder what budget it had for the development

@SatsuGoku These games spend millionsssss (nearly a billion in the case of Genshin Impact) to be developed. These are high budget games many cases. Please, don't believe the narrative.

@NikTek @SatsuGoku Have you seen genshin these Days? there is no way They spend a Billion to Develop genshin.

@ibdhippo @NikTek You realize gacha games get new characters, maps and story missions added every 2 weeks right?

Those Asian companies don't play at all.

theyre built different

That's the point of Gacha. "Hey look at this worllldddd isn't it so amazzzzing??? anyway that'll be 300 bucks for those items you don't want to miss out on"

it's not that impressive be for real

I’m not saying it is the best, but it is quite impressive and arguably better than some AAA games

Because they bring in more money and have a bigger budget

The Chinese have a different mindset; they don't need to cater to "that" audience. That's why they invest money wisely on things that truly matter, instead of wasting it on lectures disguised as games, which is very easy to spot. (Apart, anime is naturally appealing).

“Free” gacha games make a shit load of money if they’re popular

I think I know! The secret ingredient is not AAA budget, but my asset pack called Fluid Flux that can be found on FAB :>

Because it's not trying to look realistic, it has art direction

3060ti 1080p on medium graphics

its not just the water this game puts MANY AAA's to shame visual wise

Bro talks about gacha games like they indie games. They make fucking milions every month.

That micro transaction money being put to use baby!

Free lol

Anime games often outshine AAA titles in every way possible and the sad reality is almost all are free to play with optional micro transactions but while allowing completely free to play progression as well.

Asian games superiority has always been a thing

Games like this dont have a Dev team of 500 overpaid DEI Hires, so obviously its a better Game.

Anime water is usually easier to animate and make look good thanks to the art style. Also, works a lot better on a large range of hardware. AAA game engines, however...

Gacha games since 2016 to 2026 evolved a lot! Almost comparable to AAA and sometimes even better than few.

I swear man, getting these little weirdo’s to create female anime characters without jiggle physics and minimal clothing is impossible, absolute freaks.

Unreal 5!!!

Because it's not Sony slop, also it runs and looks better on the PC Master Race

easy: because it’s a “solved” problem and the western devs are just.. lazy

Tried the game and just stopped , I’m just not a fan of the support characters aspect . I jsut want to focus and max out one character while enjoying a game .

Só parece

As soon as the beta for Mon Hun Outlanders ends I'll be getting back to this.

Tell me any reason to play this game than just realistic water physic slop.

Lo estoy jugando en tablet va bien

are frame gen work for you in this game?

Im playing it on PS5 Pro

ah ok

because gachas make like 10x more money than normal games

If this game were optimized by Kuro, the FPS would plummet when moving the camera.

Here we go with the same narrative again and again 🤦♂️...guys, it's 2026. Some of these gacha games are way better than like 98% of AAA titles. Visually, narratively, gameplay-wise. Why are we still acting like it's a surprise that a gacha game is good?? I thought WuWa ended that

Logique, les chinois travaillent sans dornir toute l’année
