For me at least, I don’t think he’s a terrible person at heart but he just did a lot of bad things that led to the tragedy with his wife and he’s fully to blame for it.

Every single person in Doflamingo’s crew is a terrible person bro 😭 (doesn’t mean you can’t like the characters I love some of his crew members but let’s be real)

The community LOVED Pink originally, but he's been seeing way more push back now that we've had so much time to digest. I honestly think that fits Dressrosa really well. A city that seemed so much like a paradise that it drew attention away from the hell it actually was, and a character who's resolve to atone was so strong that it blinded us from how misguided the attempt was. There's a lot of poetic irony in Dressrosa that I'm a big fan of.

His character is kinda written like a typical crime/mafia drama. I guess if the criminality aspect in those stories subtract too much from your sympathy for the tragedy that follows, you won't like him. Also him and Lao G had the funniest gags to me.

i agree with your dislike of sr pink. i don't think Oda wrote him to be redeemable and i believe many missed the point of why Oda wrote that story. it's clear this was him proving how good a story writer he is be writing a compelling backstory for such a goofy looking villain.

Its alright man. When fans clash over a character you know it's a healthy discussion. Personally, I like Senior Pink because when he experience personal loss, it can change a person. He wanted to make his wife happy after the loss of their son. Oda really knows how to write good characters.
