I made this tool 4 years ago for helping with customer support emails. Instead of typing, it allows you to compose an email by dragging from predefined blocks with variables. So you only write your blocks once, and then you only combine them with drag and drop into an email. You can also save a set of email blocks as a template. When you choose that template, it lets you fill the variables of the template like a form, and then send it. We only use it internally and now with all the gpt stuff going on it seems pointless to release it. or is it? 🤔

📨 Email sending and receiving now works on thanks to James Baicoianu fixing my iptables port forwarding tunnel You can now send and receive to web@pieter.com in Eudora Mail, try replying and then checking email (File -> Check Email) or just sending one You can only send to and receive from web@pieter.com so type that email if you wanna try Other people can receive your messages on there too as it connects to my real email server, enjoy the interactive nostalgia Next is Quake 1 multiplayer :D

I've been playing with a feature for my prose editor, I call "ghost cut". Y'all know how to cut and paste. You hit ctrl+x, the text disappears and goes into the clipboard. Then you move the caret and ctrl+v to paste it into a new location. You've done that a bazillion times, I bet. An annoyance I have with this is that as soon as you cut, the text reflows—and you have to reorient yourself in the "page". The solution I'm playing with is to ghost the text that was just cut. It only disappears from view once you paste it. I'm kinda liking it so far. But there is more testing to be done. Does anyone know of any precedence for this? I've not seen this in any editor or word processor.
