"I'm not considering that as mitigation" A nightmare for Bath Rugby. Beno Obano is off after a high tackle on Juarno Augustus! 🔴 #GallagherPrem | #GallagherPremFinal

@BathRugby Fantastic refereeing. You may not think it’s red, but he’s demonstrated clear decision making and made it clear at how he’s come to that conclusion.

@BathRugby Wrong decision. Yellow. If it was dangerous head contact his come Augustus was able to complain about tackle as he hit ground. Game over!

@BathRugby Sin bin at most. Final is ruined. Rugby shooting itself in the foot once more.

@BathRugby If this is what we now call a red card people are going to turn away from the game in their droves. If we don't want huge collisions then limit players weight. It's a genuine attempt at a tackle for me.... if it's foul play then a yellow. A red should be intentional or reckless.

Completely the right decision but probably destroys the game as a viewing contest

@BathRugby Same referee that decided Furbank's high tackle wasn't even a foul

@BathRugby In current laws it’s a red , but Augustus doesn’t go off for a HIA ? So dangerous really ? Killing the game needs sorting out !

@BathRugby Can understand the desire to cut down on high tackles, but so many red cards in rugby these days. Pretty much ends the game as a contest 15 vs 14. Barely worth watching now.

@BathRugby This is exactly the type of tackle that needs to be eradicated. High risk, high danger. Get low and tackle properly or face the consequences. The comments saying “but he was able to complain about it” just shows how stupid some English rugby fans are.

@BathRugby Chest first...if that was Maro probably nothing
