I'm now running my project inside a Dev Container in Cursor. I went from a dozen troubleshooting sessions every week trying to fix people's environments to zero. Dev Containers just work. More developers should consider them.

Yeah. Long time fan of dev containers. There are even neovim plugin to support dev containers now… not as smooth as the VSCode experience. One main complain I had about early cursor was the inability to support dev containers - the option was there but it did not work. Good to know it’s been fixed now.

Development containers are awesome, especially when you can swap the hardware running your environment without changing a single thing. Apparently, I've been living under a rock because I didn't know about this. I recorded a 3-min video to show you Gitpod Flex running on my laptop. This takes less than 5 minutes to configure and run. Here is a quick summary: 1. One click to run any of my GitHub projects in a container, isolated from everything else. 2. I can use Visual Studio Code, JetBrains, Cursor, or any other IDE that supports development containers. 3. I don't have to mess up with my computer anymore (or have 17 versions of Python installed) ← this alone is awesome! 4. I can spin up a runner in AWS with my dev container and have access to any hardware I want while developing. 5. I can configure one-click buttons to run services and tasks I need every day. 6. I can share the environment with anyone on my team. I left this for the end, but I know this is one of the most important features of Gitpod Flex: They built a zero-trust architecture to manage these development environments. This is huge for those working at companies where security is crucial. Below is the link with an explanation of how they built their architecture. I just released a beta version of /dev/push. It's basically a (simpler) alternative to Vercel, Render, and the likes. You can log in with GitHub, pick a repo, configure your build and off you go. Whenever you push code to GitHub it will automatically deploy it for you. There's obviously more to it: environments, custom domains, environment variables, custom commands, teams... And I'm working on adding more: custom Docker containers, remote nodes, SQLite database, support for PHP, RoR... It's completely free and open source (MIT license). The online version is for now restricted as I test things up. Links below👇

I added a Knowledge Graph to Cursor using MCP. You gotta see this working! Knowledge graphs are a game-changer for AI Agents, and this is one example of how you can take advantage of them. How this works: 1. Cursor connects to Graphiti's MCP Server. Graphiti is a very popular open-source Knowledge Graph library for AI agents. 2. Graphiti connects to Neo4j running locally. Now, every time I interact with Cursor, the information is synthesized and stored in the knowledge graph. In short, Cursor now "remembers" everything about our project. Huge! I am having such a blast making a Factorio styled game with Claude Fable 5! Making sprites is so much better, and the designs are detailed and I would consider this to be a turning point in Ai game dev, you can really make a game now with AI. This was just a few hours of design in my little test game but i honest can say its doable now. Tell me your thoughts, I would love to hear them! Anthropic

One thing I did which has been extremely cool is have Grok 4.5 in Grok Build CLI scan my project for all the UI/UX bugs it could find and make a detailed list. Got a couple hundred. Then had GPT 5.6 Sol in Cursor fix all of them by delegating subagents and managing the PRs. It’s been running for 3 days now and handled an insane number of them, and is still going. I’ve been checking in every couple hours and it’s just extremely good work.
