For once, I saved my process as a little peek behind the curtain. From rough thumb blocking the movement through to final colour (only on Jimmy Jr). This took a few weeks of evenings and weekends to work up 14 seconds of animation. but I’m so pleased with how it turned out.

🐰 you’re asking if i’m going to upload pictures from my trip on instagram? 🐰 i’m getting them confirmed right now! i took too many pictures so i’m choosing which ones to post right now 🐰 i think i’ll post the cebu pictures once the vlog gets uploaded so i’m going to post the pictures from the thailand trip first, they came out well! 🐰both in cebu and thailand, taking pictures for instagram was definitely not on the top of my list because i really just wanted to enjoy the trip so i didn’t take pictures diligently but! they still turned out really well 🐰 we’d just roughly take 5 pictures like “we’re done we’re done let’s go, we must’ve gotten something” and those pictures all turned out really well

Got the eye rig to work as well I'm really happy how it turned out. I do have a shrinkwrap modifier on the head to help the shape but it can be turned off for more extreme shapes. Next i'll work on some arkit shapes for face tracking.

My oldest turned 7 today and celebrated it with a Player Of The Match performance on the weekend 💙 At the weekend she was Maldini at the back, then shades of Best on the wing with a feint and finish 😅 We’ve been working on playing out from the back and committing defenders when dribbling and she’s starting to take it on board. Team’s unbeaten in 6 (in both boys and girls football). #girlsfootball #grassrootsfootball

Finally got #gaussiansplatting working! I’m really impressed by how well it captured the fine details of the sneaker fabric and shoelaces, as well as the text. This was generated from 75 DSLR photos I shot on a 24mm lens, took about 30 minutes to process on an RTX 3090, and is running at a smooth 60fps on the SIBR Viewer. Going to run more tests to see how this compares to some of my experiments in photogrammetry. I’m hoping a plugin for #UnrealEngine5 comes out soon! #nerf
