The India scenes took me right back to Mumbai, a place I visited over 10 years ago. I was left wanting more and more at the end. Need a way to skip past a collection after watching it that does not require you to flick through them all. Such an amazing experience.

Not only is this one of the nicest, most heartfelt compliments that anyone has ever given me.. but what Ren says afterwards are some of the most important words I’ve heard spoken in the these turbulent times we live in. I’ve always felt and often preached the same ideology throughout my music, but I can admit that at times, even seeing the world for what it truly is, I’ve gotten caught up in some of the divisiveness that the orchestrators of our reality put in place to keep us fighting. Sometimes it’s hard not to. Sometimes it’s out of defense when my words are misunderstood or taken out of context. Sometimes certain stances, whether popular or not, do need to be taken by someone with thick enough skin to deal with the blowback. But also, sometimes I’ve been wrong. I want to put a worthy project before you and explain why I’m backing it, and why I may eventually have some personal involvement in it. “Deceived: The Ruin of the Modern Woman: A Christian Exploration and Confrontation of Feminism.” Here’s the Kickstarter: There is a longer trailer on the Kickstarter, but I've also attached the shorter conceptual trailer. First, the project itself: it’s a documentary by a Christian director examining the history and consequences of feminism and offering a biblical alternative. Second, here’s why I’m backing it. I’ve known Les Lanphere, the director, for a while, and I know him to be both a talented filmmaker and a principled Christian man. I trust him to tackle this subject biblically and with intensity, but without unnecessary harshness or shock-jockery. I also believe this is one of the defining issues of our day, and it’s one I’ve worked hard to address for most of my adult life. Feminism has obviously affected men and society as a whole, but now that I’m the father of three daughters and have a daughter-in-law, I’ve become even more concerned about what it has robbed women of: the beauty of their unique, God-given design and purpose in His world. So, for me, this is a trustworthy creator tackling a crucial subject in which I’m personally invested. I’m not yet sure to what extent I’ll eventually be involved in the documentary itself, but I backed the project for $300 today, and I’ll probably increase that once I’ve had a little more time to consider it. In the meantime, I want to challenge 50 of you to back the project for at least $5 each. That may not sound like much, but it helps. And the more people who get behind the project and follow its progress, the more attention it can gain. I’ve eaten candy bars for most of my life and the chocolate texture on top of most of them were always enjoyable to me. It’s like thicker sections of the chocolate that made it better. Being no stranger to having issues with textures I get it. But I never thought that this soils be an issue for anyone. This man doesn’t like the veiny appearance of a Snickers bar so he created his own contraption on a 3-D printer that cut it off so he could enjoy his Snickers bar. I often modify my food because of texture and mouthfeel of food. Like how I always peel the chicken skin off of rotisserie chicken unless it’s completely crispy. The soft mushy chicken skin that hasn’t been rendered is disgusting to me. It’s the reason why I even avoid eating rotisserie chicken just for that reason alone. Whenever I order a sandwich, I will often order it without sauce, and have them put it on the side because by the time I get home to eat it, it’s soggy and inedible in my opinion. So I’ve been told it’s a sensory issue and I can train myself to overcome it but to be honest I really don’t want to either. I always check my food and will just not eat it if it’s too soggy. So far that has worked for me. But this guy’s explanation for why he doesn’t like the candy bar is laughable for me, I get it, the texture ruins it for him which I can relate to.
