Last time I saw Bob Weir was in Boulder on 4th of July weekend in 2023. Dave Matthews sat in for a Watchtower > Knocking On Heavens Door > The Weight encore. The last video I have in my phone of Bobby is him telling the crowd to “put your load right on me.” How many times did we do that in one way or another? Sitting here now, it feels like a perfect ending for my journey with the music… So many days driving high mountain roads with the background sounds of some Bobby project making the colors even brighter. So many times when I found comfort in the music while dealing with grief and loss. Plenty of days where I felt lost and a lyric landed a little differently and set me down a good thought pattern… None of us get forever, but Bobby’s life will echo on in the songs we play for ourselves and our children for years to come. Sehun: Firstly, as an idol, I’m able to meet our fans when I’m on stage. And when we perform, I feel like we’re not the only ones doing so as we’re actually working together in sync with our fans, our EXO-L.
