This is Gurugram - the same city where groundwater is nearly exhausted and drinking water has to be brought in from outside, through canals or bottled water. And look at the state of the city today. Kilometres-long traffic jams. Roads flooded. Rainwater has nowhere to go, and citizens are left stranded for hours. What kind of administration is this? Is this how a city is supposed to be governed? Or has governance simply become a business of extracting money from citizens while providing nothing in return? Gurugram is projected as a world-class city, but every heavy rainfall exposes the complete failure of urban planning and administration.

Every creator needs to see this. Tim Ferriss is one of the best content creators ever. His longevity and work quality are unmatched. And in this clip with David Perell, he highlights the biggest opportunities (and risks) facing creators today: Reputation and credibility. He calls credibility “the new gold” and in a world where the ability to make *something* gets easier and easier, quality and integrity become the scarce resource. If you want to be in this game for the long term, you can’t make short term compromises. And Tim is a fantastic role model.

Show me your papers! This is what Garlic Girl has to go through every time she wants to come in and out of her property. This is dystopian on its face but it is actually one of the more calm and cordial checkpoint experiences she has had, much of that due to the officer with the long hair who has taken time to talk to her and has developed a working relationship with her. Almost all of the other experiences going through this checkpoint have been far worse, I will be sharing those next.
