IMPOSSIBLE MISSION for C64 (Dennis Caswell/Epyx/1984) Absolute classic. Randomized layouts inspired by Rogue, early use of digitized speech, smooth somersault animation (Dennis used a book about athletics as drawing reference) and that checkerboard puzzle which is like the Simon toy (lower to higher pitch) giving a password. On top...

Congrats to EloShapes.com on their launch! On a similar note, is out of beta and available to the public. A lot of you have been asking me what my plan is now that EloShapes is also doing 3D scans... the answer is: nothing changed! I think that competition is good. I'm a mouse nerd and a LONG TIME EloShapes user, so the more options I get as a user, the better. I really think that my vision and EloShapes, though, is fundamentally different. I've had the domain for FMM for years, I have a much larger platform in mind compared to what I built so far. The 3D scans are the necessary step for my vision, not the end goal: they never were. I am also very proud of the fact that I've been able to scan at least 5 mice in full color EVERY DAY with my own pipeline, and I think I will easily have almost full coverage of the mice people would want on the website within months. Check the video for the mice I've added in just the last few days, all textured. Apart from some of the features I've mentioned before (like the virtual hand/grip), FMM is meant to be kind of a "MyAnimeList" for mice, so that you can share your profile, like this: and then later on leverage this curated list of mice you build for yourself to be shown even more mice you might like. FMM is also a tool for reviewers and anyone that wants to share their opinions on mice. Links like this: allow you to easily share your specific points about a mouse via the annotations, viewpoint sharing and measurements. And of course, as I've said since the beginning, I will use FMM to centralize all my hard testing about sensors, dpi, and such, so that you'll be able to find EVERYTHING about a mouse, including the raw results of my standardized sensor implementation testing. So, with this said, I will keep scanning as many mice as possible and adding as many features as possible until FMM becomes what I envisioned so long ago. Join my discord if you want to keep up! I hope you'll all give it a try! Ciao!

David Lynch on using Roy Orbison's "In Dreams" in Blue Velvet (1986), and Roy Orbison's reaction to the film: Chris Rodley: "I’ve always assumed that ‘In Dreams’ was conceived as an integral part of the movie from the beginning. It seems conceptually essential to the story’s intentions and mood. Is that true?" Lynch: "‘In Dreams’ came about while we were in production for Blue Velvet. Kyle MacLachlan and I were on our way down to Wilmington, North Carolina, from New York City. We were going through Central Park on our way to the airport when over the cab’s radio came ‘Crying’ by Roy Orbison, and I’m listening to this song and I said, ‘That! I’ve got to get that for Blue Velvet. When I got to Wilmington I sent somebody out to get Roy Orbison’s greatest hits. I played ‘Crying’ and then I played ‘In Dreams’, and as soon as I did, I forgot ‘Crying’. ‘In Dreams’ explained to me so much of what the film was all about. I immediately called Dennis Hopper and told him about the scene I had in mind and that he had to memorize this song. Dennis and Dean Stockwell are old friends. Dean got together with Dennis to help him work out the song and memorize the lyrics. I wonder why! [Laughs.] So we finally got to the day we were going to shoot the scene in Ben’s apartment where Dennis was going to sing the song. We were rehearsing and Dean said, ‘I’ll stand here and kind of help Dennis if he needs it.’ So we started playing the music and both Dennis and Dean began to sing ‘In Dreams’. All of a sudden Dennis stops singing and looks at Dean — who’s continuing to sing. Dennis is solidly in character and he is moved by Dean’s (Ben’s) singing. There was the scene in front of me. It was so perfect. Once it was decided Dean would be singing ‘In Dreams’, another strange thing happened. I was going to use a small candle-style table lamp as the microphone. Dean knew the microphone was going to be a lamp of some sort and when he went over to the area of Ben’s apartment where we were going to set the song, thinking he saw the prop light, he picked up a work light that was hanging on a nail on the wall. He turned it on and flipped the long cord like a microphone cord and obviously it couldn’t have been more perfect. The strange thing is no one on the crew put that work light there. No one knew where it came from. Who can say how it happens?" Rodley: "The use of ‘In Dreams’ in that scene revived Roy Orbison’s career, but what did he think of the movie and the use of his music in it?" Lynch: "When Roy first saw the movie he didn’t like it. His song ‘In Dreams’ meant another whole thing to him, and it was, like, a precious thing. I think some people he respected must have gotten him to see the movie again and reconsider his feelings. Roy told me that when he saw the movie the second time, he got past what the song was for him and then could appreciate the fact that it was working in another way." — "Lynch on Lynch" (1997), edited by Chris Rodley

Rubio’s speech in Munich was one of the strongest, clearest, most morally confident speeches of both Trump administrations. It reminded me of another one he gave — which almost nobody saw — delivered in Jerusalem on September 15, 2025, at the inauguration of the Pilgrimage Road in the City of David. The ceremony was closed to the media, and the full recording of his speech has never been released. But in the excerpts that have surfaced, you hear Rubio speak unapologetically about spiritual and civilizational roots, moral order, the source of human dignity, and Jerusalem: 🔸️ “The United States was founded on a powerful idea, defined not by geography, ethnicity, or anything else. It was founded on the very powerful principle that the rights of mankind come from their creator.” 🔸️ “It was here [in Jerusalem] that God fulfilled his promise to His people. It was here that the lessons that formed the bedrock and the foundations of our laws — the principles upon which we decide what is right and what is wrong — were built.” 🔸️ “If you think about the things that today we, in civilized societies, use as rules to govern us, these things did not come because good people wrote them. They came because they were rooted in ancient teachings.” 🔸️ “For deep inside of us, we all know that we were created for a purpose and for a reason, that our dignity comes from our creator.” 🔸️ “To stand here [in Jerusalem] today on the very road, where not 2,000 years ago so many from everywhere ventured to fulfill that desire to be closer to the creator, is a humbling and honoring experience.” 🔸️ “As you go through the layers of history, you realize that all the civilizations that conquered this city, all the ones who tore it down and built on top, are all gone. The Roman Empire is no more, nor any of the others that sought to conquer and rule this land. But one people remain. They have returned.” 🔸️ “For God’s promise is eternal, and it is perfect, and His word is always true. And I’m honored to be a part of its fulfillment here with you tonight.” It is extraordinarily rare to hear an American Secretary of State speak like this. The fact that the full speech still hasn’t been released is borderline criminal.

David Friedberg: “AI is the new lightning rod for fear and divisiveness that ultimately breeds compliance and control.” “Peter Thiel said this best. He's like, ‘Look at all the money that's going into AI, there's really only one company that's making any money, and that's Nvidia.’” “Like at this point, the jury's still out. We don't even know what AI is.” “It's sort of like when the internet was happening, everyone thought these fiber optic switch companies were going to make all the money.” “Turns out that was wrong. It was the end applications that made all the money.” “And they competed in many different markets. from Google, to Amazon, to Uber.” “You can go down the list of all the beneficiaries of the core infrastructure technology of the internet that was built out.” “So what is really going on?” Well, AI is the new lightning rod for fear and for divisiveness that ultimately breeds compliance and control.” “Which is where these politicians are trying to drive the populace and the voting conditions in the United States.” “And that's what's going on right now.” “There's a lot of fear about, ‘Putting this data center in my town is gonna do X or Y or Z,’ with no real conversation about the truth of that matter.” “There's a lot of fear about wealth creation being aggregated in the hands of a few when as we saw with the internet, it benefited the many.” “And that fear mongering is a very similar tactic that we've seen in the prior generations where policies were misstated, fear was used, and then voting control allowed folks to come to power that were looking for power.” “So I think it's just the lightning rod at the moment.”

🧵1/ The children of Gaza & WB - revealing the Islamist palestinism death cult and UNTWA’s role in their use and abuse: 👉🏻To understand Israel in this war- you have to truly understand what we’re fighting. It took us 75 years, repeated monstrous terrorist attacks, that manipulated every ounce of our morality, countless monstrous statements by its leaders and one #October7th genocide attempt- for the majority of Israelis to understand that the group that defines itself as "Palestinian" is led by a palestinism death cult (with many leaders that were born in other Arab countries- like Egypt, Syria, Jordan etc. and with IRGC agenda and support) that sanctifies death for the sake of Allah - suicide and murder by and of children and all others are holy and for the sake of God (as opposed to death is a necessary evil for the protection of life and the values of freedom) It took us 75 years to realize that this death cult is maintained by international organizations that call themselves "guardians of human rights and international law" and have many polite and whitewashed expressions in the language of the West (colonialism, oppression, occupation, apartheid, river and sea) with the purpose of justifying, advocating for and covering up of an extremist religious sectarian ideology - a criminal and corrupt palestinism-Islamist ideology - which sanctifies the blood of children for the purposes of the sect and in the name of "God (Allah)", that glorifies the murder of innocents because they are "Jews" or “the west” whom it defines in serial brainwashing as subhumans, pigs and monkeys - that must be destroyed in order to please Allah "from the river to the sea" and then also - to destroy the control of "the West" heretics. In this cruel and unimaginably tragic picture of reality - the children are both messengers of murder, victims who grew up to sanctify their deaths and also a product of propaganda to continue the blindness of the West and its use against itself and to continue this unbearable control and exploitation of children, in the name of the death of said children. Placing the children at the heart of the violence of this death cult and this cruel cynical use of them - poses new and impossible moral dilemmas that obviously serve the death cult that has never had zero care or interest in morality. It took us 75 years to wake up from the "two state solution" propaganda fraud and that awakening was painful. It took us 75 years to realize- that while we in Israel were singing and educating for peace, working for peace and trying to reach out for humanity in every way - the death cult loyalists across the border on the other side were dreaming, singing and teaching about the blood of Jews and the war of exterminating the Jews, they were training militarily from birth to die for Allah in the holy war in which they will kill as many Jews as possible and die for “Palestine”. Even since we left Gaza in 2005 and long before that from the PA territories in the West Bank - there were (are) groups in Israel and in the world that still talk about Israeli "occupation" as if it were Gaza and the West Bank - but there (in Gaza and WB) they talk about “the occupation of Palestine from water to water" "from the river to the sea" - Including Acre, Haifa, Tel Aviv. Meaning, “liberation from occupation" means the complete destruction of Israel, a complete genocide and ethnic cleansing of its people. For them it was for 75 years: Arab Palestine (although it never existed). This thread will show the methods of this death cult that is now pushing for more power and support through “self determination” - of a criminal cruel organization that is hijacking a people with UN help and support. The first clip is from the movie: “UNRWA AT WAR” - full movie is here:

BREAKING: Trump’s USDA just postponed a major reform designed to empower poultry farmers against corporate monopolies. It was set to go into effect in July. Now, it’s postponed to December 2027. We fully supported this rule that would fix the broken “tournament system” used by corporations that dominate the poultry industry to pit small farmers against each other. Journalist Christopher Leonard broke down everything you need to know about the tournament system and why it needs to be reformed: “Just two companies, Tyson Foods and Pilgrim’s Pride—and Pilgrim’s is owned by JBS—control about half of the [poultry] market.” “And it’s not just that so few companies control it today.” “This business is vertically integrated.” “A company like Tyson Foods, for example, owns the feed mill, they own the slaughterhouse, they own the trucking line, they own the hatchery, and they work with farmers under contract.” “When we have an industry that’s consolidated like it is today, we see an old playbook that monopolies use to extract more profit than ever.” And the “most notorious” mechanism they use to extract profit and dominate the industry is the “payment regime that’s called the tournament system.” “These poultry companies… take information on all the farmers that deliver chickens during a given week, and then they rank the farmers against each other based on how fat those birds got on the amount of feed that the farmer was given.” “The companies will give a higher price per pound to the top performers and a lower price per pound to the lower performers whose birds didn’t gain as much weight.” “In a way, that sounds like your typical bonus system, but here’s the key: the bonus for the top performers is actually taken away from the pay of the lower performers.” This now-postponed USDA reform would have banned payment deductions from lower-performing farmers, eliminating these corporations’ key tool to pit small farmers against one another. We strongly urge the USDA to re-commit to implementing this reform by July 2026 for the sake of small farmers, who are struggling more than ever in the face of price spikes as a result of geopolitical conflict. All on a platform that fiercely champions freedom of speech. In Elon's own words, "If done right, X would serve people's financial needs to such a degree that over time it would become maybe half of the global financial system or by far the biggest financial institution except not in the way that people are use to thinking about banks. The most efficient database for money with the least amount of fraud. Everything is real-time. If it involves money, it can be dealt with seamlessly in one location. In addition, you got the social media element, which is also people sharing information of various kinds, whether it's text, video, picture, or voice. Tom Cruise on why he wasn't interested in making a sequel to "Top Gun" (1986), which was thought to be a right-wing film promoting the U.S Navy: "Playboy: 'Born on the Fourth of July' (1989) is also the flip side of 'Top Gun' (1986), which is essentially war by Nintendo game and a paean to blind patriotism. Cruise: OK, some people felt that 'Top Gun' was a right-wing film to promote the Navy. And a lot of kids loved it. But I want the kids to know that that’s not the way war is—that 'Top Gun' was just an amusement park ride, a fun film with a PG-13 rating that was not supposed to be reality. That’s why I didn’t go on and make Top Gun II and III and IV and V. That would have been irresponsible. Playboy: Is 'Born on the Fourth of July' a redemption of 'Top Gun'? Cruise: They are two different things. 'Top Gun' is a joy ride and shouldn’t be looked at beyond that. 'Born' is about real people and real events. 'Top Gun' should be looked at as going on Space Mountain—it’s like a simple fairy tale. Playboy: A lot of boys have gone off to war to that kind of drumbeat. That is the history of war—young, callow kids marching off to a fairy-tale glory as in Top Gun. Cruise: Think of that: I am totally responsible for World War Three [laughs]! Come on. Let’s look at the reality of what I am saying—where my beliefs lie. I didn’t have anything riding on 'Top Gun'. The fact is, I really want people to see 'Born on the Fourth of July'—it’s a movie that had to be made." (Tom Cruise's interview to playboy, 1990 taken from Gizmodo) (He did star in a sequel in 2022 - "Top Gun: Maverick" as we all know) P.S: Happy 64th birthday, Tom Cruise!

🚨Should the US create a Sovereign Wealth Fund? Chamath and Friedberg discuss Chamath: “I think that we should start a sovereign wealth fund right now.” “The great news is that these Trump tariff deals come with huge amounts of capital that these other countries have committed to spending inside the United States.” “We've exceeded $1T of inbound capital on the investment side. We get 90% of the upside.” “A lot of that capital should be the seed capital for a sovereign wealth fund.” Friedberg: “The concern I have is anytime we create a new income stream at the federal government, or we have some sort of growing asset that you mark up on the book, someone tends to invest ahead of the curve on that.” “Meaning someone takes that and they're like, ‘Oh, great, I can spend more now.’ I mean, we even saw this in California (with) Gavin Newsom and the budget skyrocketed as the income went up.” “Rather than take the surplus and book it for a rainy day, they went and spent ahead of it, and then all of a sudden they had a huge deficit.” “Which is what happened with Social Security is, it's like, okay, all these people are providing this income every year to the federal government, which they're supposed to be paying into their Social Security Trust Fund, which is gonna go bankrupt sometime between 2030 and 2033.” “But then what happened is we raided the coffers, we took all that money, and we started spending it on random new programs.” “And the problem is, by giving the government more assets, by giving the government more income, we set ourselves up for a circumstance where the federal government, the Congress says, ‘Great, we got more money to spend. Let's do X, Y, and Z program and let's do this. Let's build a high speed train. Let's do this. These are all good for American people.’” “And all of a sudden, you don't actually solve any real problems. And this is why my argument is that we should use it to fill the hole that we have, for example, in Social Security.” “And that needs to become an asset that's strictly used as an offset on Social Security, because if you don't put it in that box, it just becomes another spending mechanism.”

Tomorrow, we publish a new The Edge Podcast with Robinhood GM of Crypto, Johann Kerbrat. This clip might be the clearest articulation I’ve ever heard on why Ethereum's roadmap is working, and why Robinhood chose to build its own L2 using Arbitrum. + Ethereum offers security, with proven decentralization + New L1s = centralized databases + EVM liquidity is essential for tokenized stocks & RWAs + Arbitrum’s tech stack wins on engineering merit No edits. No spin. Just a major U.S. fintech explaining why they’re building the future of finance on Ethereum. Real validation for those of us who are long term Ethereum/ETH investors. Here is the clip and transcript for Johann answering why Robinhood chose to build its own Ethereum L2: "You see a lot of companies right now building their own L1. And for us, we felt excited about this idea where we can control anything that we want to build and we don't have to deal with any other chain to talk to or anything like that. But at the same time, creating the security of a real proper decentralized chain is extremely difficult, as you know. And we basically get that for free with Ethereum. The network has been going on for a very long time now and the security is stable and it's decentralized. And I think that's really the key two points that we wanted to have. When you look at some of these new L1s that are being created, it's not really decentralized and it's not really secure. So at the end of the day, you're basically having like a... fancy database that is probably a bit slower to use than an actual database. And so we didn't really see the value in that. With Ethereum, we get the security by default. The second thing that we get by having an L2 is that you get all this liquidity that is already part of all the EVM compatible chains. And that was also a very important decision factor for us. If we really want to bring the stock market onto the chain, we need to have this liquidity. It's not going to be possible if it's in a closed loop or in a closed chain that nobody can access and you need to have like 20 different hoops before you can bridge to that chain. So for us, that was kind of the two elements that we really wanted to focus on and that's why we decided on building on Ethereum. And then we decided on Arbitrum mostly because we love the technology. There's a few things that we are excited about. For example, Stylus. It's a way that we can basically use different language into the chain and we can build on top of that. We also like the way that they prioritize transactions that is, we think, a better way than some of the competition. And so basically we'll use the Arbitrum stack and we'll create our own L2, which will make us also compatible with all the Arbitrum chains. And so we think it's kind of the best of all the worlds. But for us, the idea is like we will start with public stock, and then we think that we can tokenize anything really, not just stocks. It can be private stock, it can be art, it can be real estate, whatever you want to think of. And so we really wanted to have a platform that is kind of easy to build on and we can keep adding on it. At the same time, we know that regulation are going to be hard on some of these products, especially when it comes to financial products. You always have different regulators. You have different rules depending on the region. If you're in the EU versus the US versus LATAM. And so we felt like we wanted to have our own layer that we could customize for these needs. And then anyone that is building on the chain will also be able to benefit from what we are building, versus just putting everything in a contract that will be just good for the people that are using the Robinhood contracts. But so at this point, we announced the chain in June. We are in private test right now, and then we'll do more announcements in the future." 🧵1/ I’m back from a short trip on a social network with photographs and videos from Gaza, with some brief personal conclusions. First, it is quite clear that there are those in Gaza who know how to make extensive use of the networks and social media for the purposes of emotional extortion and also false propaganda, exactly like they live streamed the October 7 massacre and somehow turned it into “justified resistance”, they use quite a few Western buzzwords such as “genocide”, “occupation”, “oppression” and “Zionism”- and this is the simplest way to distinguish between Hamas propaganda posts and authentic people in Gaza, whom I’ve known all my life, who use much simpler words and not this indoctrinated manipulation bullshit. I was looking for THESE authentic people - the real voices. And I think I found a few. So first of all, what do I think there is NOT happening in Gaza? There is no genocide and no famine. Yes, there is quite a lot of suffering, shortages in some places and lack of decent shelter etc. And there’s a lot of cynical exploitation of it for propaganda purposes. I’m saying it because you can see children are getting payed for it, you can see the absolute control of distribution and you can see how basic needs and the way out is blocked with money- Israel is not taking money for any of it, the West is sending free aid, so the money is demanded by those who want to control the suffering and use it. You should know, that before the war - there was already quite a lot of very poor population in Gaza, but now the economic difficulty has greatly increased for two main reasons: one, the war damaged many sources of livelihood and the second - a major source of livelihood was working in Israel and this option was closed for a long time now, since October 7, and is now much less operational. So in fact the main source of income is donations and funding from Hamas for control purposes of course. This is how, among other things, Hamas uses the population to "work for them", and also to smile or cry for the cameras on demand. Now on the issue of claimed famine- famine is when there’s NO food and water, enough for the population. As I said, my personal conclusion is that there is no shortage of food and water in Gaza at all. The problem is that the food is not distributed equally, it is controlled by those who are powerful (usually Hamas operatives) and then sold at high costs to the population without them having sources of livelihood. Food that should be distributed for #free is actually sold at a high price, the shelter tents are also paid for and the exit from Gaza is particularly expensive (5000$ that are paid to the transporters). There are quite a few who refer to Gaza as a "prison" but Gaza is not a prison, Hamas has simply created a situation where it is very expensive to leave it - and thus the poor and the new poor are completely dependent on Hamas and other clans (Hamulas) in everything to do with food, shelter and exit, and they play with them as pawns. If Gaza is a prison - then it’s because Hamas are imprisoning it. All the suffering in Gaza started because of #Hamas it continues and increases because of #Hamas, but the main point is that #Hamas is also the one factor that can stop it. If Hamas surrendered unconditionally and released the Israeli hostages, as done in any war in which you are forced to admit defeat - they would truly liberate Palestine. Remember- this is a war that #Hamas started, a war that on Oct. 7 was celebrated in the streets of Gaza. But #Hamas prefers to keep the Palestinians captive so that it can showcase suffering (which they create) and use it as a tool for financial donations, manipulation of the West and a messianic jihadist war that will never end for them. If the West doesn’t wake up to this ongoing manipulation- they will never help the Palestinians in Gaza or in general, and they will bring this jihadist chaos to their doorstep From Gaza >

This is some VERY IMPORTANT knowledge which they definitely will NOT share with you in a school text book, that has been purposely hidden from you for your entire life. 🚨🚨🚨⚠️⚠️⚠️ America was founded on the principles of Freemasonry. From the Constitution, to the Bill of Rights, to the very deliberate, esoteric and occultic design of downtown Washington D.C. every monument and building…All of it is very much based on Freemasonry. Most of the Founding Fathers were indeed, Freemasons. It’s not known if they were aware of the evil in which they were partaking in, or which level they were at. Most of the Masons who join will not make it to the 30th degree, and many will not even make it past the 3rd degree (Master Mason) where the Hiram Abiff ritual takes place, and membership is solidified. Most members of Freemasonry will never find out that in the higher levels, it recognizes Baal, and or Lucifer (The Lightbringer) as the “Grand Architect of the Universe” as “god” of this world. The greatest enemy of the One True God, the one who seeks to steal, kill and destroy, also referred to as Satan. Most everyone who is in a serious position of power and influence in our world are high level Freemasons. It’s a right of passage, and a requirement to show fealty to the Brotherhood in the highest echelons of the global power structure. This is also why there is never any serious accountability for atrocities and crimes against humanity. There are endless promises of justice, and transparency, but at the end of the day that is nothing more than elaborate theater to keep the people pacified. The TRUTH of the matter is that they will NEVER punish or out one another, it’s strictly forbidden in the oath taken by Masons. This is also why there are so many police, and judges who are a part of the craft. They can do as they wish, and prosecute whom they please, in most cases without impunity or accountability. Most all male figures in entertainment/celebrities are also Masons, and females are members of Order of the Eastern Star, a Masonic adjacent organization. They show you that in the countless pictures using one-eye symbolism, and using the “shhhh” pose with finger over the mouth. A vow of silence. THEY PICK ALL AMERICAN PRESIDENTS. The fact that Trump wants to build a “ballroom” which in many ways is reminiscent of Solomon’s Temple, and an arch in Washington D.C., are both concepts DEEPLY steeped in Freemasonry, also Trump’s frequent wearing a purple tie is very Masonic. Solomon’s Temple is seen as one of the core inspirations for the Masons, as is the study of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), which is deeply entwined in its teachings. The word “Kabal” actually comes directly from “Kabbalah”. The end goal for America was ALWAYS the “Novus Ordo Seclorum” which is prominently printed on the back of our One Dollar bill, as is the very occultic All-seeing eye of Providence, which represents constant surveillance, control and grip in which this order has over the land and its people. “In God We Trust” is also a nod to the same aforementioned wicked “god”. Adam Weishaupt, fellow Freemason and the creator of the Bavarian Illuminati, started it in the year 1776 to promote “enlightenment” of men over the One True God. Very interesting to note…The founding of the Illuminati was the SAME year as the founding of the United States. That is hardly a coincidence… The cold, hard truth is that we were sold a GIGANTIC LIE about our history. Once you step back and fully analyze the research I have laid out here, it paints a vivid, yet grim picture of why everything is so chaotic and seemingly planned to fail. It gets worse and worse by the day. The sad truth is that America as we know it, was created with an expiration date…And, we are seemingly inching very close to that. America is the “experiment in democracy” that was needed, as a catalyst for the a new order of the ages, ruled by a tiny elite club of Masons… A NEW WORLD ORDER.
