During the inspection, it was found that food items were being prepared and stored under extremely unhygienic and hazardous conditions, posing a serious threat to public health. ✳️Major Violations Observed: • Operation without a mandatory FSSAI licence. • Use of prohibited/artificial food colours (MSK Lion Green and Raspberry Red). • Reuse of stale and hazardous cooking oil. • Absence of water analysis certification and quality control measures. • Gross unhygienic conditions and lack of pest control. Seizure Details: • Approximately 110 kg of prepared fried chicken. • 6 tins of loose cooking oil (15 litres each). • Artificial chemical food colours. Two persons responsible for running the illegal operations have been apprehended. Health Risks to Consumers: ✳️Consumption of such adulterated and unhygienic food may lead to: • Food poisoning, vomiting, and diarrhea. • Gastrointestinal infections. • Long-term health issues due to repeated consumption of reused oil. • Allergic reactions and toxicity due to artificial food colours. • Increased risk of serious illnesses affecting the liver and overall health. ✳️Legal Action Initiated: The accused, by concealing these unsafe practices and supplying adulterated food to consumers, have endangered public health and gained unlawfully. Reduction of GST from 12% or from 18 % to 5-- Food items- Namkeen, bujjiya, sauces, pasta, instant noodles, chocolates, coffee, preserved meat, cornflakes, butter, ghee, all these are in 5%. Reduction from 28 % to 18%- Air conditioning machines, TVs which are over 32 inches, all TVs now at 18%, Dishwashing machines, small cars, motorcycles equal to or less than 350 cc are all now coming to 18 %."

🇯🇵🇨🇳 A Chinese man in Japan gets angry at a sign which says "Dear Chinese people: all of our restaurant ingredients are from Fukushima". It makes him so enraged that he calls the police. The reason this sign was put up was because CCP propaganda often tells Chinese people that the water and food around Fukushima is polluted and by eating food from there you will die. This has been proven false. Unfortunately, the shop owner took down the sign which he never should have done. This man should have been deported immediately back to China.

One dynamic everyone should understand: Many “leaders” put hatred of RFK and President Trump over children’s health. This hatred leads pundits like Jerome Adams to troll about someone’s dead mother. Just last year, whole food purchases went up ~8% - that will have a profound public health impact. Schools, military bases, prisons, and hospitals will serve better food. Food companies, who have played by the rules and we hope thrive, are acknowledging there is a problem and making changes. This is a big deal. THE SYSTEM WILL MUZZLE INDIA’S FOOD POLICEMAN – TUKARAM MUNDHE. DON’T LET IT. Tukaram Mundhe stands between us and a silently bubbling health crisis. Had Tukaram Mundhe not stood up to the powerful 5-star, celebrity restaurant, corporate food chain and dark store lobby, we wouldn’t have known just how much unsafe and adulterated food can enter the food chain. In case you’re wondering, Mundhe is the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Maharashtra. Over the past few weeks, his relentless drive against unhygienic food vendors has led to raids on restaurants, major food chains and 86 quick-commerce hubs. The raids have uncovered serious hygiene and food-safety violations. Four Domino’s and one Pizza Hut outlet were shut after FDA inspections found, among other things, grease residue, insect infestations and food products without proper expiry information. Then came the dark stores. The FDA suspended 14 food licences linked to Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart outlets after inspections found violations including cockroaches and expired food. In Maharashtra’s crackdown on milk adulteration, FDA inspections detected the dilution of milk with water and the manufacture of synthetic milk using urea, detergents and formalin. In Pune, FDA raids seized suspected adulterated khoya, paneer, cheese analogue and ghee worth ₹47.36 lakh, with 35 samples sent for laboratory testing. The food being delivered to your home for your kids can be sitting in a warehouse where cockroaches and rodents have access to it or might even be chemical food. This is why what Tukaram Mundhe is doing matters. But Mundhe is doing what Mundhe does best. This 2005-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Maharashtra cadre, widely known as a strict, fearless and anti-corruption bureaucrat, is often dubbed a real-life “Singham”. This is a testament to his rigid adherence to rules, zero-tolerance approach to corruption and willingness to confront the system. But he has paid a big price. Mundhe has been transferred 25 times in 21 years of service. And there is now an apprehension that he might be muzzled once again. Because the pushback has begun. The courts have questioned the proportionality and procedure of some of the FDA’s actions. The Bombay High Court recently criticised the FDA over action against Cadila Pharmaceuticals, observing that it had effectively used a “sword to kill a mosquito” after the agency seized medicines worth ₹2.4 crore without prior notice. The FDA subsequently agreed to withdraw its orders and issue show-cause notices, allowing the company an opportunity to be heard. In another case, the Bombay High Court directed the FDA to pay ₹5 lakh to a Pune dairy and sweet shop after its licence remained suspended despite the establishment subsequently achieving 98% compliance with food-safety requirements. The courts are right to insist that regulators follow due process. But here is the question the rest of us must ask: Does due process mean going soft on food-safety violations? Mundhe should not be above the law. But neither should the food industry. Don’t curb the man because he has had the temerity to enforce the law. Instead, stand up for him because he is standing up for us.
