Today marks 12 years in the British Army. This interview from March is a perfect example of how Thomas Massie grifts off of the Epstein case and lies to smear Trump. I've watched almost all his interviews on the Epstein case. Same pattern. This reminded me of that night in North Carolina when I was hearing what I thought was screaming of a woman. The couple recording was terrified at what they heard and wanted to document it in case somebody was in trouble. What do you do when you walk out your door and hear this? Do you run, go back in, or call the cops? The first night in North Carolina for me was similar. I had gone outside at night, to get something out of the car. The driveway was long and had those white stone gravel that always got dusty when I drove my car down them. When I got to the car I took my key out and unlocked it, yeah, yeah I know, I didn’t have power locks yet at that point. So anyways I grab my hoodie out and start walking back. One of the teens next door around my age yelled hello and I walked over there to see what’s up. We were chatting about what we wanted to do for the weekend. But his eyes kept darting, I noticed that every so often we would hear a faint whistle, almost barely audible but definitely noticeable. I started to pay attention to the whistle. Minutes went by with nothing abnormal happening and then we both heard it again and it sounded much closer this time. Even with the insects at night, what was weird was we didn’t hear them anymore and it was as if the woods went silent. Being a city boy from NYC I am no stranger to noise and buzzing of daily life but what I’m not used to is total silence. Eerie and foreshadowing silence as if the world has gone mute. It was definitely terrifying simply for the fact that all my life I’ve always heard noise and in this moment of total silence it was unnatural to me. I was uneasy and I could tell he was too and we fist bumped and started walking back to our homes. Even to this day I have no idea what I experienced but I’m not looking forward if it happens again.

You lot will probably think this is a bit sad, but I’m feeling pretty emotional about this, emotional and proud. 18 Year old me wouldn’t believe it, in fact 28 year old me in 2014 wouldn’t believe it either after just being cancelled. I’m stood here outside the Woking Theatre – my home theatre – staring up at this massive screen with my big daft face plastered all over it for the show this Thursday. It feels surreal, it’s been constant struggle and graft then all of a sudden im here. This is the exact same place where I rocked up at 18, alone, to watch Lee Evans live on stage, my idol, in my eyes the best to do it. Walked out buzzing, thinking right, that’s it, that’s what I wanna do – be a stand-up comedian for the rest of my life. I didn’t think about tours, money, fame, nothing, I just wanted to be funny enough to make an audience laugh. And now after all the mad ups and downs, the massive mistakes I made that nearly ended everything, the dark times where I thought I’d never get back on stage again… here I bloody am. Full 360 moment, proper full circle. Got me choked up if I’m honest. I’m just so proud of the broken version of me that found the strength to crack on. You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. Mental health action tip for the day… A GRATITUDE LIST. This changed my everyday being and gave me a new way to start each day. I learned this from an actual Thai monk in Ko Samui, Thailand. He asked me to write down 100 things I’m grateful for. At the time I was in a VERY VERY DARK PLACE. Absolutely self loathing, mired in depression and couldn’t see the light at the other side of the tunnel. So this monk asked me to write down 100 things from my whole life. People, I know my life is GREAT, but too often between my ears just sucks and I didn’t sign up for this shit! I was literally stuck at 1 and he asked me, “You like your watch?” Ummm “yeah, I can use things like that?” “Yes,” he said, “It can be anything. What about GOD? You say you’re a big GOD guy? That’s 2. How about your son? You love your son? That’s 3.” He asked me to think of things my whole life and we’ve all had some good moments. I started slow but eventually I got to 100. In the weeks that followed… I read that list every single day. Now, it’s how I start every morning.I do a list of 10 things I’m grateful for from the previous day or coming up today. So, while Republicans are busy attacking American athletes for saying “hey… maybe this is wrong,” and whining about them “hurting America’s reputation”… Maybe start with the part where a U.S. federal agency is being protested on international soil, by people who don’t even live here. What has become clear with the Sol and Fable releases: Anthropic, has pulled into the lead by at least 1 full cycle — and this is bad. Mythos is already several months old, and while Sol is good I would still pick Fable for ~50-55% of tasks. Meanwhile, Anthropic, has not been resting, they'll have another model here soon enough (and once again tell everyone why its so scary - please, flog me daddy). Anthropic being in the lead is dangerous. It gives them the very power we shouldn’t trust them with. Dario himself said: “Now that we are in a leading position, I, and Daniella, are trying to move the dial even further towards being careful. Thats what the Mythos release was about. It’s very hard to do something like that if you’re not the leading player” He's not wrong. Being the leading player has given Anthropic the ability to push this agenda hard. He is a true believer in the dangers of AI, but frighteningly believes that the only mitigation full control by a small number of people, him being one of them - if not the chief. He really believes that. If you think back on the tiff with the Department of War, Dario reportedly said he would be willing to give them letters of exception to the terms of service on a case by case basis if they just ask — who does that empower? Having Fable removed led to a new process be imposed on their competitors (OpenAI with 5.6). This wasn’t a mistake like so many people thought it was. They didn’t poke the bear only to get their heads ripped off. Nope, its was a honeypot and the administration fell for it. The frustrating thing is, Dario is right, no one can push back on this agenda because Anthripic is in the lead. We desperately need competition to keep AI well distributed. I’ve heard rumors that the Trump administration could try to use antitrust against Anthropic, but that would be a huge mistake and feed the very kind of institutional control that Dario so very much wants.
