In Logan (2017), the final scene hit so hard because it was real. Hugh Jackman got really emotional. James Mangold paused everything and told him: “This is the end of 19 years. Just sit in it.” That’s the take we saw.

Hugh Jackman reveals the emotional reaction when he finally put on Wolverine’s iconic yellow and blue suit. Hugh Jackman: “For 24 years, people have been talking about it. It was one of the first things Ryan said to me: ‘I wanna do it.’ And he goes, ‘We’re gonna do the yellow and blue.’ I was like, ‘Alright, I’m in.’ In my head, I was like, ‘I don’t know if it’s gonna work.’ As soon as I put it on, he had his Deadpool suit on, I had mine, and we walked onto the set. There were 100 crew members who had done 100 movies and seen everything. You could hear a pin drop. Everything—it was just a hush. There was one guy there, Billy Lawless, who’s Ryan’s dresser. He started to cry. His kid’s name is Logan, just so you know. And he goes, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ It’s the best. It looks so good. It feels so good. Except when you’re urinating, it does not feel good.” Jimmy Fallon: “It must be hard to get out of that.” Hugh Jackman: “It’s like a labyrinth getting there. It’s very hard.”

Hugh Jackman once revealed he almost appeared as Wolverine in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002). “In the first Spider-Man — Kevin Feige reminded me of this — we really tried to get me to come on and do something, whether it was a gag or just to walk through the shot or something.” “The problem was, we couldn't find the suit.” “The suit was stuck in some thing.” “And so when they were in New York when I was there, we couldn't get it together.” Despite years of internet rumors, Jackman never said the Wolverine suit was stolen — only that it was unavailable and apparently locked away in storage.

Hugh Jackman should’ve stopped playing Wolverine after Logan. Jackman’s refusal to just retire Wolverine & move on with his career is disappointing & I hope he doesn’t return in Doomsday. I wrote back in 2018 that Jackman deserved consideration for an Oscar after what he did in Logan. In a word? Sublime. Had it not been such a loaded year, Jackman might’ve gotten a nom. Not only that, my love for director James Mangold grew even stronger after this movie. It’s the perfect send off. There’s no better way to say goodbye to a character than this film. This should’ve been the final note.

BRO WASN’T JOKING… HE WAS PREDICTING THE MCU’S FUTURE. 😭🔥 Back in 2013, Hugh Jackman said he wanted to see Iron Man, the Avengers, Wolverine, the X-Men and Spider-Man all come together. 13 years later… Avengers: Doomsday is making that once-impossible crossover feel REAL. Hugh Jackman really saw the vision. #AvengersDoomsday #Wolverine #Marvel

In 2001, Hugh Jackman delivered the most realistic computer hacking scene in film history. To this day, it is used for training at the Cybercrime Division of the FBI.

Hugh Jackman’s confession speech performance as Logan will never not hit me whenever I watch this. You can really tell how much emotion he was feeling in this scene and he just plays the character so well.

This scene is so funny. Mario just swoops in out of nowhere and steals the statue right as Wario finds it. And Wario just shrugging it off at the end really sells it

The story of Clair Obscur is really ramping up now. The character acting is so good, Maelle is def my favorite character so far. You can really see the pain in her facial expressions and the hurt in her voice. I can't believe what just happened (iykyk) This was the first real emotional moment for me and it fucking hit.

In This Is the End, Jonah Hill was told the possession scene wasn’t optional. The directors told him: ‘If you’re not OK with this, then we have a problem.’ “He was fine with it then.”

In The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger was so intimidating that Maggie Gyllenhaal couldn’t believe what she saw “I remember coming into work and seeing him. That scene where The Joker throws me off the roof was the first time I really saw him, and I remember thinking, ‘Whoa. Oh, OK. You’re on a whole other level.’” “It is a very scary scene, and full of tension and anxiety. It also has – when I watch it anyway – this kind of thrilling feeling.” “We shot the scene all night long, and at four o’clock in the morning it was still fun to do. He inspired me.” “The camera shot us – it was just one camera going around us in a circle. So, often if you shoot a scene you have to shoot it in many angles.” “But, if you’re just shooting it over and over again moving around two people, you don’t really have to match anything. So, yeah, things were different in every take and it was really exciting working with him.”

this is why documentation and keeping records at work are so important, it’s just frustrating how the final cut disregards and fails to understand it. the emotional delivery in this deleted scene was absolute perfection, and it would have seamlessly connected with the shots in the final cut. this behind the scene footage really deserves to be seen by more people. our qingyi is in so, so much pain...😭💔 Cr. 🍠忍得春生 #Overdo #zhanglinghe
