In mechanical engineering, cutting deeper threads does not make a bolt stronger. In fact, it does the exact opposite. There is a precise point of diminishing returns where adding thread depth significantly weakens the fastener without providing any extra holding power. The strength of any threaded connection depends on... a delicate balance between thread engagement and the integrity of the bolt core. The Core Diameter Problem The most critical dimension of any threaded fastener is its minor diameter the thickness of the solid metal cylinder remaining at the very center of the bolt. It is scary listening and watching this… “Weld from here to here…” “The bolts…Go to the market and buy the one you can find…I will give you money..” “We will put CCTV…down load it to your phone…” You would think that this federal minister is talking about repairing his house gate!!! The old River Niger bridge is a steel-truss road bridge that was completed in 1965. Just like the failed Benin-Agbor- Warri road…it is the major artery connecting east and west of the country- the only one until the recent completion of the 2nd Niger bridge. It has seen years of service, wear and tear from daily use and now vandalism, have taken their toll… That bridge is overdue for a comprehensive managed maintenance program of work. At the very minimum a battery of nondestructive tests to determine current structural integrity and how much its load bearing capacity has been compromised is what is required…in the first instance… But professor of project is here saying “weld from here to here…” “go to the market and buy bolt…” How ??? Which bolt? Just any bolt will do ??? No consideration for tensile strength and load factor ??? Weld what??? With what??? Have you rated and tested the plates to see their actual condition ??? Here’s what they told me: “We want to assure the public that this is not a safety issue. We witnessed the raw power of nature yesterday just south of Seward Alaska! It was incredible to watch this massive glacier calving, sending a huge wave through the water. Absolutely breathtaking to see firsthand. Glacial calving is a natural process where large chunks of ice break off from the edge of a glacier. This typically happens at the “terminus” or snout, where the glacier meets the sea, a lake, or even dry land. When these massive pieces of ice fall into the water, they become icebergs, or in smaller pieces, “growlers” or “bergy bits.” The process is primarily driven by gravity and the movement of the glacier itself. As a glacier flows—acting like a slow-moving river of ice—it experiences immense internal stress. When it reaches a point where it is no longer supported by land or where it extends out over the water, the ice becomes unstable. Cracks called crevasses form in the ice, and when these cracks penetrate deep enough, a section of the ice can no longer hold its own weight and snaps off, crashing down with incredible force. Every visitor gets a patch on a shared canvas. You pick a thread color, choose a stitch type, and craft your art. A sampler is a piece of fabric where you practice and collect different stitches — a reference guide and playground in one. They were meant to be passed between hands and added to over time. This is based on a historical source ( Zōhyō Monogatari) written in the 1660s, that instructs us to "not only thrust" as "it's better to strike. Raise your pike higher than the opponent's and strike in unison". This would definitely not be standard practice for most of the sengoku jidai. My friend Gunsen History will like me to state that, this advice is from a time where pikemen were there mainly to support the gunmen, and thus wouldn't take the central part of the fighting. It would make sense then, for these men to not be as used to fighting and to develop some sort of drill to effectively end the fights without a prolongued engagement. Still fascinating to see an interpretation of a primary source portrayed onscreen.

This is too old a problem not to bear consequences and dealing only with its consequences will bring more embarrassment to your people, country and the region. The PS3 RSX Pro Delid Tool is now available. This upgraded tool is designed for those who want to delid many PS3 RSX chips. This is a complete redesign of our standard RSX tool. It is now made from a much stronger and heat tolerant material. So, you can heat the RSX lid if you want (though its not necessary). All new geometry increases the tool's rigidity. It also gives it ~60% more lift than the standard tool, so it pops every lid. The metal insert on the blade is held on with adhesive now, so it does not pop out. Finally, we added a washer under the bolt head to distribute the load and reduce wear on the frame. The PS3 RSX Pro Delid Tool is now available. This upgraded tool is designed for those who want to delid many PS3 RSX chips. This is a complete redesign of our standard RSX tool. It is now made from a much stronger and heat tolerant material. So, you can heat the RSX lid if you want (though its not necessary). All new geometry increases the tool's rigidity. It also gives it ~60% more lift than the standard tool, so it pops every lid. The metal insert on the blade is held on with adhesive now, so it does not pop out. Finally, we added a washer under the bolt head to distribute the load and reduce wear on the frame. Around 7 in the morning, a driver stopped his car in the middle of this busy road and climbed onto the roof of the car, trying to untangle something caught in a thread.
